Another fighter the wrong side of 30 picked out by GB... Starting to see a bit of a pattern emerging here.

Lol. Canelo haters are zee dumb...
Pascal's last three fights are Bivol, Browne and Jack. All three top 10 LHW's and he went 2-1

Anthony Dirrell isn't even the best Dirrell. His last three opponents are Benavidez, Yildirim and Han. Got KO'd by Benavidez, beat Yildrim because he did what all Dirrells do and quit before the fight ends, and nobody has ever heard of Han.

And you're gonna act like Dirrell is the better fighter because Kovalev is gonna fight him. **** outta here.

Good catch, if they can make a ppv DAZN then maybe they could afford to pay a top opponent... as a matter of fact... I think a ppv with any top boxing stars would do very very well right now since we haven’t seen boxing at all... just look at the ratings for the nfl draft this year as a reference... people were dying to see something in sports live and the draft broke all ratings records this year because of it. It’s a shame none of these big heads in boxing are even bringing up ppv.... it’ll be huge, I can say that pretty darn confidently

Yeah. But I give DAZN credit for wanting to try something different.

I’m a Canelo fan and this is a terrible fight. I’d rather see him with Benavidez or Zurdo Ramirez at 175.

PPV is vs a Monthly subscription... PPV would still not make sense without a live gate and the gate fee. Otherwise we would be seeing Wilder vs Fury 3 in the immediate future... but they are waiting for live gates/attendance opening up.

DAZN can't. They just spent a year and a half campaigning against how they were the alternative to PPV and were going to kill PPV.

I'm sure Arum would love to whip up a big money PPV card if he had guys in shape. His two cards next week are mismatches and tune ups, and I'm not mad at that. These cards were put together on like 10 days notice. But as time goes on, we will need big fights.

Itll be better than watching canelo blast out a scared dirrel in the early rounds with nothing coming back at him

                    Pascal is a proven warrior
The problem is that Pascal is 37, What does Alvarez gains from beating a 37 guy who has been stopped by Kovalev twice, not gonna lie tho, I like Pascal more than Dirrel, Derevyanchenko so much more than Pascal, would make for a fun fight.

KnowThe Durrell brothers do not move the needle for me. I'd rather see Derevyanchenko at 168 than Dirrell. Someone brought up Pascal, while the matchup doesn't prove anything I'd say that it would be interesting. Pascal is shopworn but he's game as anyone and has some serious power in that overhand right. He had no business beating Browne and Jack but he did. Even if you disagree with the result, he put himself in a position where he could get the W.
