Sosa weighed 142, Loma 139 so how in god's name is Loma the bigger man?
And I'm the one who doesn't make any sense? lol
Marriaga who fought Loma at 130 weighed 135 down at featherweight against Walters who had 10lbs on him, Loma weighed 137-138 for all but one of his fights at 130 and Marriaga said himself he bulked up a littleComment

This clown is clearly a troll, either that or he's too ****** for words. Either way, I'm done wasting my time.Comment

Common sense ain't the same thing for everyone, man. Guys tend to rehydrate less as they get older anyway. Dude might have just found his comfortable weight and not varied it much. Don't think it'd help with his style at all trying to bulk up, in fact I think it'd be a damn liability and impede his mobility which is key to his game.because giving me an unnofficial weight that you heard through the g****vine isn't something I'm gonna take as proof. common sense should tell you that if he was rehydrating to 138 coming from 126 and there is proof supporting that then he obviously is adding much more than pounds after weighing in at 135, especially since he fought at 135 in the WSB before he ever had a pro fight. I'm just making a point that he isn't fighting bigger guys. Idk what all of your passion and why does it matter statements are all about. If it doesn't matter to you then you dont have to be here.
And as I've pointed out the WSB weights given by Boxrec are the weigh limits of the division the fight was fought at, not what the fighters actaully weighed which we still don't know, although we do know he was heavier than 57Kg (126Lbs ish) at that time.
So. No numbers to back up your hypothesis then? Just speculation based on historical weights and what you think is 'common sense'?Last edited by Citizen Koba; 06-02-2020, 10:22 PM.Comment

No matter the weight, Loma has a tall order ahead of him. If he can beat Lopez and Davis in order, I'd build him a statue. Lopez he might, with some scares, no way Loma can beat Davis.
That's the fight for Loma. He told us himself.Comment

[QUOTE=daggum;20592047]Nah. I'm still a Loma fan, despite the absurdity of his fanboys (not you), but this will be Loma's signature loss. His career defining fight. No matter the weight, Loma has a tall order ahead of him. If he can beat Lopez and Davis in order, I'd build him a statue. Lopez he might, with some scares, no way Loma can beat Davis.

What champ at 168 is lucrative? Canelo is lucrative at either weight. There is also legacy at stake. GGG can extend his number of middleweight defenses (although not consecutively) while he awaits Canelo. Callum Smith and BJS do not add any money to his pocket or any legacy to his HOF career.
And you know that Rolls was really a MW fight with a few pounds of allowance to make it easier for both to make the weight.Comment

I'm right dumbass. He fought at 135 in WSB. He isn't some tiny lightweight in the pros.Comment
