Now all of a sudden people want to say he's fighting bigger guys because he moved up to 135 in the pros. They say he's a natural featherweight. Bull****. He in his natural weight class at 135.

Hoema was never a natural featherweight either, he was big for that weightclass.

He's a natural 130 pounder but his fans act like he's super tiny. It reminds me when ggg fans tried to act like ggg was a small middleweight

Facts, even Chris Eubank Jr moved to 168 no problem. GGG still refusing to move up

Amateur weighclasses go up in 4kg intervals at the lower weights man. That means Bantam is 56Kg (123Lbs) and Light is 60Kg (132Lbs). And although I believe the WSB did do previous day weigh ins most ammys were accustomed to same day weigh ins and were fighting at the weight they would have done under those conditions I think.

Basically it just means he was too big to make 123.5Lbs. I think his current ring weigh is somewhere a shade below 140 though don't quote me there. Ain't unusual for Lightweights to rehydrate close to 150.

Refusing? Is there some authority saying he must?

Generally fighters only move up when they can't make weight or for a more lucrative fight. Not sure either applies in this case.

So Rolls and Szeremeta were more lucrative than fighting a champ at 168?
