      Morales beats him, doesnt matter 126, 130 , 135, 140.

Also Morales is able to get along with Pac and even MAB these days.

JMM is the salty one that even got jealous of all the attention and admiration Canelo got from the mexican fan base.

JMM also didnt fight MAB until he was 83 years old.

JMM cant stand losing to another mexican and risk being loved less by the mexican fans, that was his number one fear and the reason he avoided Morales and MAB like the plague. If JMM loses to a Pac, Floyd or Bradley, he can atleast cope in his mind with telling himself he was still the best mexican fighter of his generation. That is why he cant get along with his countrymen.

Fight Manny for $750,000, or Chris John for $30,000?

        Marquez was a damn fool.

I think it really depends on what stage of their careers they were in.
In general I think JMM was a wrong style for Morales.
And after Pac 1 I think Morales was just too burnt out from making weight and JMM would have beaten him at a higher weight. Prior to Pac 1 if still favor JMM but it was probably more of a 50-50 fight

Both have a point but both were talking different timelines against each other. Marquez was talking about 2000-2002 while Morales was talking about 2010-2012. They should answer each other’s allegations at the respective timelines they were talked about and figure what went wrong why this fight didn’t happen

When Morales was on top Marquez was nowhere on his radar. He slighted Juan because he wasn't a huge box office draw not only in America but also in Mexico.

He considered him an unknown fighter. However, it wasn't until Marquez began making a name for himself by fighting on HBO, pay per view and Manny Pacquiao while earning millions of dollars in the process, that he decided that he wanted to fight him. However, it was too late by then because he peaked too soon.

By 2006, Morales' body had aged and badly declined as he was exiting his prime at the tender age of 30; While Marquez was just entering his. Erik had lost three fights in a row and was stopped by Manny Pacquiao in two of them.
