Both these fellah would deserve the win,very difficult to pick one. Their primes were only slightly Apart and in giving an opinion on who would win in a prime....I gotta go with Juan Manuel Marquez but take nothing from the great “ el terrible” both these fellah could fight and really fight in a boxing match or smash the **** out of each other for fight fan delight but I go with Marquez at the heavier weight certainly.

i think if they fought back then, i will give the edge to morales... take pacquiao's name off marquez resume and he's average. the guy made a name off pacquiao. since pac was blitzing through his opponents and was looking like a beast and marquez tamed him, so marquez was made to look like a master boxer.

Marquez also defeated Barrera when they fought. I think at his very best JMM would out box, and might even KO Morales.

When its all said and done Boxing is a business and at some point usually early with the top prospects the business aspect will take over, every top fighter has risk vs reward high on the agenda. fans have a very different perspective of the fight game.
