He beat unbeaten WBO champion Glowacki by decision very decisively over twelve rounds and took the title in Glowacki's backyard of Poland.
Then he defended against then-unbeaten prospect Micheal Hunter in the United States and beat him on a decision but had the guy out in the twelfth and it could have and probably should have been stopped. Again, he beats an unbeaten fighter in their home country.
Then he travels to Germany and beats former longtime-reigning cruiser champ Marco Huck and stops him in ten and does so in Huck's backyard of Germany. Once again, Usyk invades the opponent's country and beats them soundly.
Then he faces unbeaten Latvian WBC champ Mairis Breidis and beats him by close decision in a very competitive fight in Latvia. Again, he beats an unbeaten in the unbeaten's backyard and now has the WBC and WBO titles.
Then he travels to Russia where he soundly puts a clinic on Gassiev and picks up the WBA and IBF titles. Gassiev also was unbeaten and Russia is his home country. Yet again, Usyk beats an unbeaten on his home turf.
Then he takes on former champ Bellew and stops him and again, it's in Bellew's backyard.
Now that's one hell of a run and I think it's the best run I've seen in recent years.
The Whitherspoon fight was pretty lame but hey, it's just a start. I'd love to see Usyk face one of the better big boys and I have little doubt of that happening. Here are some highlights as well...

He literally fights exactly the same as loma, like literally. He's just a cruiserweight discount loma, who was not even that good anyway. It's like copying a bum and being worse than the original. Like how can you copy a bum and be worse than that bum, it doesn't make any sense.

As an amateur Usyk won every major tournament he was eligible to enter: European Championships, World Championships, Olympics .. gold medals all the way.

He went 5 - 0 at super heavyweight in the WSB.

In 16 pro fights at CW he won all 4 alphabet title belts plus the Ring and lineal titles and beat the WBC interim champion, Tony Bellew. All his world title wins came on the road, no home advantage in any of them.

Worse than a bum though ....

          He’s overrated.

He basically fought to a draw with a guy who should have lost by a huge margin to Noel Gevor.

Before a late KO, he was behind on every scorecard against a guy who got destroyed by a light heavyweight and was only brought up to heavyweight to be a victim for an aging star.

But he beat a bunch of losers in an awful division so everyone thinks he’s great.

If you've seen none of his cruiserweight fights, go watch his cruiserweight fights. Hunter, Gassiev, Hunter, Huck, Glowacki all former champs that Usyk dominated, and the Breidis fight was excellent also.

He beat Hunter that looks like decent hw now, so I think he can handle some guys there.

Yeah, I can't tell if that guy is joking or trolling or what. Since he makes seventeen threads a day, it's probably Lester/Mirko. Turkey either has nothing to do or it has plenty to do and Lester's not part of any of it. Haha.
