Probably because it's traditionally seen as hard to do and you get credit for it and the greatest in history did it. That's probably why they're considered best in history.

People wanted to see how floyd would do, rather than be mysterious leaving us scratching head wondering.
We want to know how floyd fights when hometown fans screaming homeboy who punches aren't even landing on you and how floyd reacts. Does floyd press for ko. It's about showing more strings to your bow.

Listen Larry your unconditional love for floyd is commendable but you want him to be great doing as little as possible

For Bradley, Pacquiao was he a significant opponent of his career.

Floyd doesn’t have that. Get it now joker ?

When you think of willie pep you got Sandy sadler. When you think srl you think duran or hearns.

You need to give biggest rivals rematches. Even if your fans don't want it, it's not just your fans you need to think of. You want to silence your opponents fans or your critics.
Thank you Hugh you get it.

                  Although Ward-Kovalev would've been a better option.
                  Nice catch.

I agreee. However I would point out. I think For froch Ward was his most significant fight of his career even though he lost and a rematch never happened.

But let’s add Ward - Kov
