      |To give up height and length that is not ideal but to move up and move up anyway and prosper. Canelo was shorter than Mayweather at their stare downs. I was there." - Breadman

For the idiots that DEMAND Canelo fight at LHW and above from here on out. You don't know SHT about boxing!

Canelo will have an easier path to achieving whatever it is the WBC is strangely so concerned about him achieving as long as they're changing rules and creating belts for him. He won't have to face tough mandatories. So he'll always have the 50/50 probability of beating a champion in every fight on his side that no other fighter in history before him was granted. Given his string of very su****ious decisions though id raise that to a 70/30 chance.
Canelo was 23yrs old, the unified SWW champ, ring champ at SWW, #9 0n the p4p list, had already beaten Austin trout, Shane Mosley, Carlos Baldomir, and came in the size of a running back against Floyd. He wasn't too young. Unless every other Boxer at 23 years old is/was too young, in which case they shouldn't be professional fighters until whatever age is deemed old enough by these clowns.

Canelo was old enought to fight
Mayweather. That's a fact not an excuse. Do you believe that at age 23 a 153 pound Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard, Terry Norris, Esteban DeJesus, Donald Curry or Tommy Hearns would have been totally dominated by Mayweather. I dont.

Who said I did??? I lost count of how many excuses he listed? I don't think he used that as an excuse did he???

I'm glad he did take the fight at a 23! OBVIOUSLY LEARNED from it!!

Maybe you can't see he's 1,000x better then back then with all the tears and salt in your eyes but everyone else can.

REAL trainers and not some TROLLS thoughts about Canelo evolution... Man I still remember him looking like a fat, slow, plodder! Need links to those fights???

I’m very impressed with Canelo’s evolution. He does fight like Mayweather but he punches in more violent out burst. He can’t jab from the outside like Floyd but man he does his thing. His defense, chin and relaxation has allowed has allowed them to take the shackles off. That’s a sign of a great fighter. - Breadman

And NOT some Troll on BS

lol at sullivan kissing his ass talking about canelo so brave to take a 10+ million dollar fight, sell 2 million ppv's at 23, yeah that was a real gamble.

A lot of guys have taking worse ass beating for less than 1% of what canelo made for that fight. He could realistically have lived like a king in mexico off that one fight and never work again.

If Canelo didn’t fight Mayweather he wouldn’t have learned how to emulate him. It wasn’t maturity is was replication. In addition you can mature him, and the only way Canelo would beat Mayweather is by challenging a much much older version. Factz...

Canelo’s legacy will be of a great fighter who’s career was su****iously rigged because his handlers never just let him rely on his talent and superior will to win.

Goldenboy are talent managers that want to do a bunch of plastic surgery behind the scenes and then talk to everyone about natural beauty.

But Canelo deserves some level of Hall of fame recognition. Just not what they created through catch weights, between weights, ducks, Rehydrations, judges for hire, Belts for purchase, Belts through Bums and Belts through dives.

Goldenboy should have believed in what they had so that we could actually see how great he could have been.

Oscar had one of the most recognized careers in fight history by legitimately taking on the best, win or lose. Why would he cripple Canelo’s legacy with all this visible tampering? It will be remembered and Canelo will never get his just due.
