Comments Thread For: Shawn Porter: I Would Rather Have Had Pacquiao's Career Than Mayweather's

Both have been huge for the sport for all different reasons.
Shawn's preferences are legit if that's what he thinks along with whoever thinks Floyd..
Both great on the eye to watch when at the best. I loved Manny's tanacity around the ring and willingness to take a huge punch in the pursuit of his own combos etc. Floyd was easy on the eye, dominated the ring and seemed to glide at times.
Floyd with the 0 sways me towards him if I was forced to make a decision but I hold both in high regard and both deserve plaudits for what they've done for boxing..
Manny obs still going and hopefully he comes out of it all fit and healthy....

Now that's just plain ******. Even Pacquiao himself would probably trade careers with Floyd... who even knows what long term damage Pac has sustained from the wars he's been in...

Boy Please
Says the guy who has lost almost every meaningful fight of his somewhat disappointing career. Nah, I rather be the undefeated guy with a win over the guy you're comparing me to. Just saying...

Like I said befo....
Listen, listen, like I said befo....
Yo gayweather, i see you sporting those pink tmt groin protectors when you were training with Hanely.
Listen, how come gayweather always gets his dimes pieces stolen from him? RJ got princess and Nelly got Ms.Jackson!
But more importantly RJ should get 20 % residual income for the rest of his life for putting that THOT (kim K) on da map!

The above may not all be the reality but alot of it is the perception. As I've previously posted before, I think Floyd plays the heel because it was lucrative. Before he was "Money" he was "Pretty Boy".
Porter's statement isn't an indictment on Floyd or some affirmation of Pac's superiority, it's just a fighters answer of preference to a question.

manny getting his just due
Floyd is and was the boxer’s boxer. His fellow craftsmen all praise his boxing. Young amateur fighters admire his ability
Some industry people like Robert Garcia, Porter, and Ryan rather have manny’s career.
That’s fine also. I guess they value being popular and liked by others more than being the best
I have Floyd ahead because he vanquished all his opponents and beat manny very clearly when they fought.
manny would have a better case if he got the better of the Marquez quadrilogy. JUAN was the winner of that
