While there's understandable frustration from dazn subscribers and Canelo fans about not having the trilogy and getting stuck with a GGG vs nobody match up, I don't recall the same amount of outrage towards Canelo last year when he opted to not fight GGG or anyone at all on the big Sept boxing/Mexican holiday weekend that was supposed to be his staple date. Fans were made to watch Munguia vs a nobody all while Canelo was in a pissing contest with dazn and GGG. If you're annoyed with GGG now, you should've been just as annoyed with Canelo last summer because he essentially spat on his fans instead of being willing to give them the trilogy.

In the entire history of any sport, it is extremely rare that an athlete who is 35 and older, is the same as they were when they were in their late 20s to early 30s. If you need proof as it specifically relates to boxing, look at the age ranges I just gave you and check out the performances of guys like Chavez, Oscar, Roy Jones, Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, at 35 yrs old age and older, then compare it to when they were younger. Even guys who have had success beyond 35 like a pac, mayweather or Foreman, were still not the same caliber of fighters that they were when they were younger.

They also clearly didn’t read Golovkin’s explanation a few weeks back.
So they’ll never understand what happened. No use debating them over it.
The fight will happen in December. Canelo doesn’t get to change his mind twice and get his way. He’s a little spoiled *****.

well GGG needs some normal defences to add to Jacobs, hes only got one top contender plus the win against the titlist lemieux there so far.
Adding this Kamel guy proves nothing, but then maybe its a mando i dont know.
adding canelo makes more sense, unless he knows adding him is another loss. on the other hands its old ground, why not chase a win over his 2nd ever titlist in andrade.
theres some pro and con arguments for ggg.Last edited by DreamFighter; 05-23-2020, 12:54 PM.

Canelo will continue to give us great fights with or without Golovkin

It’s unfortunate in gggs case that he wasted his prime on tomato cans. No ones fault but his!
