Jab Jab keeping it real. Very few boxers can make the changes needed to keep performing after 35. For sure Hopkins and Mayweather were blessed with that ability, as were some others, but its rare.
Golovkin is still top 10 and the ripe old age he is thats pretty impressive, but there can be no doubt about his decline. A prime Golovkin would have iced Dervy, but his speed and reflexes have declined - not saying he was ever fast, just that there has been a loss.
I'm with the pack in that there is no real point in Canelo v GGG III anyway, its an easy win for Canelo.
For Golovkin its all just exit strategy from here onwards, be it the big cashout with Canelo or a string of lesser opponents.Comment

He takes his DAZN fights, earns everyone some cash before win, lose or draw, bowing out with Canelo and rising off into the sunset. If he has 3/4 fights left and he knows Canelo will be one then make it the last one to maximise revenues.. he just has to make sure he wins the other 2/3...Comment

Canelo fans in this thread clearly didn’t read the story.
They also clearly didn’t read Golovkin’s explanation a few weeks back.
So they’ll never understand what happened. No use debating them over it.
The fight will happen in December. Canelo doesn’t get to change his mind twice and get his way. He’s a little spoiled *****.Comment
