The thing with ggg is never in his career did he fight someone he wasn’t favored to win heavily. How in the hell would you even know when his prime or the peak of his career was? Especially when ppl are saying it was vs Geale or Macklin or even Stevenson. Not a good way to gauge it at all vs those cab drivers. This is basically the classic story of 2 boxers hitting their peaks about 10 years apart. Who do you blame? Do you blame ggg for waiting till he was 35 to step up his game or do you blame Canelo for taking the fight when everything made sense? If you ask me they both waited till the time was right yet only one of them was able to preserve a positive legacy. We should all support the fighter who made the right decisions not the fighter who made a bunch of excuses

Listen I’m not here to insult you but I never lied anywhere snd I never put a specific number on gggs age of his prime. Never said 37 and never said 35, what I did say is “how would you know? I'm sure there is still audio of Lou DiBella coping to wanting Sergio to NEVER fight GGG. Idk how much of that was Sergio too, but clearly & without dispute Lou didn't want GGG vs Sergio to go down.

Sergio was pretty sh^t in his last few years in the ring when he was purely in cash out mode. He was calling out guys 2 divisions under him & avoiding a deserving challenger like GGG. Hell even Canelo dropped a belt to avoid fighting GGG too soon.

It's hard to argue mfers weren't a fan of fighting GGG at one point. If he was hype or not the reality is no one thought he was a juice being worth the squeeze situation. He was too much risk for too little reward. ****** for GGG & boxing fans who mostly aren't into gay ass fanboy & hater sh^t & just wanna see the best fights in a timelier fashion.

Yeah SIABLO that’s a riduculous purse split for someone of that caliber to have to split with such a risky opponent who didn’t bring too much to the table in terms of PPV revenue. PPV sold ok, but 90 percent was CANELO fan base not golovkin.
