I didn't even read the article just what people said about it I don't care much for Dillian Whyte as a fighter he lost to Dereck Chisora in the first fight almost got knocked out by Parker and Rivas and got destroyed by AJ already he is a tough fighter with a big punch but I don't see him becoming champ fair play to him if he does its the big boys any punch can change the outcome and it would be nice for Jamaica to have a heavyweight champion but I think he has as much of a shot as Lenroy Thomas.

I do agree that he should get a title shot though at the end of the day he beat Parker and Rivas even though he was juiced and although Lucas Browne looked in terrible shape when they fought he still brutally knocked him out so those 3 wins alone are solid enough to warrant another shot to me. His best chance at a title is AJ would be good for the UK and it has history so I'd still watch it but I think AJ has his number.

I thought you were arguing with Wilder haters that Wilder never ducked Shyte & that Shyte didn't earn his title shot.

But regardless Shyte hasn't earned anything simply because his Rivas robbery should be a DQ/loss & because he was always too cowardly to fight final eliminators including against Brazeal who offered to fight him for next at Wilder & Shyte refused.

That being said Shyte should get another title shot simply so he can get battered & crawl back into Tony Bellends hole & save the world from hearing his delusional bs lies about deserving a title & being ducked by Wilder & not being a blatant roid cheat.... Somehow I doubt he goes away even after getting battered by AJ again let alone Wilder.

        But I can hope....

Couldn’t have said it any better! Great example with Andre Berto, as Haymon would feed him patsy after pasty, which got his butt kicked off HBO as a matter of fact. This is the way these guys are able to keep the inner city American fighters protected, with an illusion of significance. They are finished in boxing at the moment.

Bottomline, Haymon and PbC have turned the WBC title into a protected class of fighter . Stank Davis, Adonis Chickenson, Black Panther Haney, Beyoncé Wilder, Spence, and Charlo have become the boxing equivalent of welfare .

and if you did your research you could see wilder made 900k against washington and after that fight he was offered 3 million by whyte so yes whyte was trying to overpay wilder given his purses at that time. wilder knew asking for 7 would kill the fight and it did. he priced himself out
So you had no problem with Martin being “overpaid” but wilder priced himself out and he asked for less than what Martin got? Lol I guess you missed martins highest payday being $250K which is less than wilders. If wilder was trying to kill the fight he wouldn’t have gave Whyte numerous opportunities which Whyte turned down. I know you brits know that Whyte doesn’t want to fight for a title of any kind. He’s turned down opportunities from all for major sanctioning bodies 🤦🏽*♂️
