Golovkin did not have a piece of that title. See this is why I blocked you the last time cuz even with proof and facts your still claiming absolute lies. Golovkin didn’t get his piece of the WBC till 6 months after Martinez lost his belt to Cotto. Your timeline is wrong and you are trying to rewrite historySo called proof coming from you, the world's biggest GGG hater is the same as no proof at all. Martnnez ducked GGG and Cotto ducked him and anyone paying attention and reading boxing scene top headlines knows it. They both had a piece of the title and GGG tried to get a unification fight with Martinez and then with Cotto but neither of them wanted to fight GGG. That is the truth and all your ridiculous over the top hate for GGG won't change it. They were wise not to fight GGG because he would easily have KOed both of them. Martinez was KOed by Margarito and Cotto. Martinez had to get off the floor to win a home country decision over Murray in Argentina. Then two years later GGG won every round from Murray and knocked him out. GGG is a vastly superior middleweight than Martinez and Cotto. He tried to fight both of them and was DUCKED so here comes hater boy to try to rewrite history to suit his GGG hating agenda.Comment

I’m glad you asked that about Canelo and how Martinez would have felt about his vacant opportunity for the wbc 154. I’m sure he would absolutely be against it and he most likely also considered Canelo a paper champ just like Golovkin. But all in all it’s 2 totally different situation due to age and experience. Canelo was about 19 or 20 and needed to be protected a bit because he was learning on the job still, sure he was a 5 year pro but unlike Golovkin who was basically a 28 year old TV Dinner with a monster ameture reputation of 350 wins under his belt. If you ask Sergio Martinez now he’d probably spit on Golovkins resume because he himself would have probably been an ATG under the same circumstances as Golovkin. That’s my thoughtMaravilla was extremely hard done to by the sanction orgs. He wasn't the dude they wanted, wasn't with a big promotion, didn't have a huge fanbase and was already the wrong side of 35.
...However, if you're a fan of Mexican fighters you might want to consider the primary beneficiary of the WBC stripping Sergio at 160 back in 2011 or so was Chavez Jr.... just sayin. The WBC blamed it on HBO but you wouldn't have to try hard to convince me it was more than a coincidence Sergios belt ended up round a Mexican waist. Furthermore of course Canelo himself fought a career Welter for the 154 belt that came from Sergio via Pacquaio. That's a strap that'd been stripped and then vacated, man, or possibly even stripped twice depending on how you take the Pacquiao thing. What you reckon Sergio would have said about that?
Maravilla's WBO belt of course had been earmarked by Varcarcel for rising Haymon star Danny Jacobs but the applecart was upset by an unheralded Russian by the name of Dmitry Pirog.Comment

I didnt provide an alternative angle because I don't think Martinez ducked GGG and I'm saying that as a GGG fan.The only quacking is you? You didn’t acknowledge any of my facts neither did your present a alternate angle or an argument to dispute any of my facts. In 2012 Sergio Martinez had his own situation to worry about with the WBC and was gonna make his biggest payday @ 37 years old vs Chavez JR the official WBC champ at 160. Do you think he was paying attention to a guy who wasn’t even the vacant wba regular fake champion yet? This is just too easy, Golovkin was still vacuuming the wba for vacant opportunities and he wanted nothing to do with Sergio Martinez
I'm not a hypocrite with low IQ who contradicts himself daily like someone else I know, ahem, you.
The fact is, you seem to think your opinions = fact and that's completely false.
The WBA regular title is a fake title? Lmfao. I guess anyone who was the champ pre 2010 was a fake champ too.
Let me ask, do you know why the WBA created a super title? To protect Felix Strum from GGG who was at the time under the same promotion.
That is a fact. The fact holds so true that's exactly why GGG left Germany for the US.
You think GGG was afraid of pillowfist Sergio? In the same breath you claim that Sergio didnt duck GGG you claim GGG ducked Sergio, LMFAO. You dont even know your damn history and you wanna talk about facts?
Too ****ing funny.
You also contradict yourself by saying
Let me guess, you're also one of those guys who proclaims loudly that GGG also ducked Ward right? Even though in 2013 Ward turned down the fight and in 2015....and I QUOTE YOU
Did you like what I did? Let me ask what LOW IQ guy like you pretend to act so smart?
Wasnt it 2012 too that GGG said anyone from 154-168. Did Sergio come calling for GGG?
Nope. It's so funny to see how GGG lives rent free. How many threads are you gonna start today?Comment

Ahem.what gives a pimply little ***wit like you... the right to put words into a PROVEN fighters mouth?
entitled ***wit fans... of a entitled ***wit fighter
FACT: Golovkin had done nothing to step in front of Martinez money-fight with Cotto
FACT: Martinez agreed with HBO to fight Golovkin next, if he got past Cotto
the reason why most people hate Golovkin fans... is because they rolled out the red carpet for a undeserved hypejob, insisting that superstars should drop everything just because it suits Golovkin
look, your comment actually applies to Erislandy Lara...
GGG would have a very good chance against Sergio and that wasnt a risk Sergio wanted or was going to take.
Lara would have a very good chance against Golovkin and that wasnt a risk GGG wanted or was going to take.
Before I go let me ask.
What gives an old **** loser like you who doesnt and cant even score fights any credibility when it comes to talking about boxing?
That's right.
You dont score fights but you think you know it all huh? And you're also too afraid to go on record so yeah, shut your ****ing mouth.Comment

In Golovkin case even if he had offered to fight for free there was no way that fight was gonna make more sense than Cotto and not to mention ggg wasn’t even ranked by the wbc at the time. I could be wrong but I believe he was officially ranked once Martinez lost to Cotto and then6 months after Cotto beat Martinez ggg got his mandatory wbc position to fight Cotto not Martinez by beating Rubio for the wbc silver beltDid Golovkin duck Cotto and Chavez too? I agree that Golovkin's team was incompetent and took too many liberties with passing up on opportunities he could have capitalized on. It reminds me of Wilder's management. I always thought they should have been a lot more active in getting a Wlad, Haye or maybe even a Vitali fight. I understand that like Sergio and those other guys I mentioned, they may not have been receptive to facing a hot, up and coming fighter. Still I'm sure there was a lot more that could have been done if each side stepped out of their comfort zone and capitulated to a deal the other side would accept.Comment

These clowns will lie right in your face with the proof staring them straight in the face broabsolutely !
who the fk was Golovkin... ?
***wit Golovkin fans rolled out the red carpet for him
FACT: Golovkin had done nothing to step in front of Martinez money-fight with Cotto... and guess what... HE STILL HASN'T, Cotto would still get that fight ahead of Golovkin today lol
entitled Golovkin fans, rolled out the red carpet for their entitled hero
and they did the same thing with Canelo
who the fk was Golovkin to demand that a superstar hand him any kind of advantage?
FACT: Canelo and Golovkin BOTH wanted that fight at their own weight...
... Canelo was the superstar, and Golovkin was unwilling to compromise... when Golovkin refused that fight at catchweight, he resigned himself to wait until Canelo moved up...
... Golovkin fans had NO reason to feel more entitled than that
... not then, and not nowComment
