      Crawford is ignorant.

He needs to be fighting Porter or Spence. Winner can fight PAC.

Gtfoh ignorant Crawford and fight some good comp. first.

Pacs handlers aren't done benefitting off of him financially and they all knew a fight with Crawford would likely be the end for pac. That's why it hasn't happened.

Not sure if I'm a fan of Crawford chasing down Pacquiao for the sake of having his name on his record at this stage.

Surely there would be an asterix at the side of that, much like there is with Lewis's win over Tyson.

Yeah, of course there's a giant pay day and I get that Pacquiao still did a job on Thurman; but it just goes against the grain a bit for me. A bit like asking Brook to boil down to 147, a weight he's been making since he was 18. It just takes away what little sport is left in the business.

I understand it's a short career and a fight with Pacquiao is life changing financially but if the 2 should ever meet I'll be wanting a Pacquiao victory. Simply because he's taken on all comers, including much bigger, very highly skilled foes and hasn't been afraid to lose.

Can you imagine Crawford jumping up 2 weight divisions and taking on Canelo? Nor can I...

I know it’s only a video game but in Fight Night Champion that came out in 2011, there is an online community with online programmers that can update the game and add up to date current fighters with accurate attributes in each weight class.

So when I put Spence vs Crawford together and let the computer do the fight, it went 12 rounds. But the interesting thing was Crawford hurt Spence a total of (4) times during the 12 rounds. Crawford scored (2) flash knockdowns. The other 2 times Crawford hurt Spence, it was with 1 shot but Spence recovered and made it to the end of the round. It was like watching a real fight the way they were moving and punching and mannerisms, LOL!!!

But the fight was still closed despite the 2 flash knockdowns due to Spence’s volume of punches to the body and head. And Spence threw a lot of body shots in the computer simulation. But Spence never hurt Crawford, only seemed to wear him down. And Spence seemed to come on strong in the later rounds too. It was a majority decision for Crawford.

This version of Manny who is near the end of his career and nowhere near his prime, like what you've mentioned—has hurt, knocked down, and convincingly defeated Keith Thurman; who Porter lost to.

How can you convince someone that beating Porter (who lost to Thruman) would be more meaningful than beating an ancient Pacquiao (who defeated Thurman and took his belt)?

Hard to say. Porter almost beat Spence. Pacquiao beat Thurman by a couple of points maybe. Spence is superior to Thurman as long as he's the same after the accident. That remains to be seen but Porter wasn't in any accident and trains like a beast. I honestly think Porter would be too strong, too fresh for Manny at this point in Manny's career and I'm a big Pacquiao fan.
