Honestly neither of 'em (Charlo or GGG) seemed to have a lotta interest in making that. IMO the worst thing about the 'Vegas Superstar' model of boxing is that it actually disincentivises the second tier potential opponents from fighting each other. Certainly neiter seemed to push for it. It's funny one with Jermall, I think he's a good rather than exceptional fighter, and I've no doubt of his willingness to fight anyone - same as I think about any top level fighter - but I can't figure why he seemd relatively disintersted in Golovkin and reportedly also turned down offers for both Canelo and Andrade. Turning down Boo Boo I can genuinely understand, given the problems he had with Korobov and the lower status of the fight, but to turn down the (reported) Canelo offer makes zero sense to me... Ima just assume it's politicking and that Als got some longer game in mind for him.

If this is the route GGG wants to take than fine, but just don't be mentioning Canelo's name later. If he's moved on, then actually move on, other guys will fill his spot.Comment

GGG is a clown. Canelo had to give him an inflated purse to convince him to get back in the ring with him for the second fight and now he declined the third when he's the B side coming off the loss, just so that he can fight his second bum in three fights in a 2 year span?
You're mad GGG whipped his ass in the first fight, and humiliated Caneo.
Then Canelo humiliated himself by taking PEDs..
Then you're made again that GGG won the rematch. You need to get off the internet.Comment

Non-issue, non-starter. Pure clickbait. DAZN is paying huge cash to both these guys, and they both agreed to a third fight already. An interm bout for both of them was always the plan. DAZN wants it, Trip G freaking needs it, and Alvarez does not care because he feels he will wipe the ring with Golovkin.Comment

Salivate that win like you salivate the verga bastarda. It boils your blood to know that’s the hardest 24 rounds and biggest win to date. You have no rebuttal because it cannot be refuted. Don’t even dare to try to name a bigger name, you’re already a top three pendejo on this site. 🤣🤣👎👎 Like I always do as a courteous poser exposer, te mando saludos morning pinche maricon 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈Comment

so you're assuming he's getting a bonus but it's not fact. So the defense of him flip flopping is irrelevant. As far as we know, he has a guaranteed contract and he simply changed his mind. My initial comment said, ggg should not be fighting this nividy and should be facing andrade or Charlo instead. He's not off the hook. They're both stubborn divas in my book. It's Canelo fans who defended canelo last summer but now are calling ggg a ducker for sling the same thing.Comment

Is DAZN even going to be in business when this is over?
I had intended to switch from Showtime to DAZN once boxing fell off, but Showtime has been FIRE with their original content (Desus and Mero, The Trade, and Couples Therapy were all incredible) and I just couldn't bring myself to cancel them.Comment

off accolades? So you're basing it off what those fighters had previously accomplished but not the threat that they were when canelo faced them? So by that logic you should add mosley to the list too. By that logic, the biggest win of Hopkins career would be his rematch win vs Roy Jones. That doesn't make sense. Ggg was a top 2 or 3 p4p guy when canelo fought him, Cotto and kovalev weren't. I give Canelo credit for fighting better in the rematch, I still think he lost. And as I've told you before, of 50 press row scorecards, only 2 thought he won. Which brings me back to my original point, he should've wanted the rematch a yr back to clear that up. Now, I think they should both move onto different opponents.... But not the nobody ggg wants to fight.Comment
