And when Floyd turned it up it still took him several rounds to actually get the finish, and it wasnt a clean finish either, it was him tagging up a tired man and the ref stepping in.
All in all having an MMA guy go 10 rounds like that (and even win a few!) was not the result a lot of boxing fans wanted or expected, so the whole "Floyd carried him then finished him as soon as he felt like it" narrative is a coping mechanism.
