So this lineal nonsense is ultimately not a real thing but a "mythical title" , an imaginary title.
You have just acknowledged that
Fury fans are demigod worshippers. They believe every nonsense their demigod dishes out.

Fury is that lineal champion who has retired, been busted for peds and never defended a world title in his life.
This is why I'm not so big on lineal talk. I'd just stuck to who holds world titles. World titles and belts seems to be very important to all the other Boxers through the divisions and I rarely hear of them talking about Lineal.

I will talk to you when Fury gets KOed within the year. That's if he doesn't go back to fighting the Wallins, Sefaris and Schwartzs hahaha. Enjoy dumbassss
And I'm also predicting that Fury will get KOed at the end of the year when he fights Wilder. Then Wilder will be the NEW lineal champion.Last edited by davefromvancouv; 05-07-2020, 08:05 AM.

My brother told me Ruiz could fight. He took a bunch of huge shots from AJ right after he got up. He showed a great chin there. I remember when he first went down I was like “Oh well there u go”, but he fought back hard enough to secure his place in history. No more weighing in wearing a t-shirt and accessories though, for anybody for that matter. Disrespectful to the sport. People bet on this stuff. Hiding ur physique has all sorts of ramifications.

Just like when Jim Jefferies came back in 1910 to reclaim the heavyweight title from Jack Johnson. Or when Muhammad Ali came back in 1970 to reclaim the title from Joe Frazier. In both cases, boxing had moved on to establish a new champion but the actual lineal champion came back.
When Fury came back and there were 2 established champions, one who had the WBC belt and another who had picked up the belts Fury had already won. So no one had established themselves as THE champion after he left.
