Like when he said he donated his entire purse from the first Wider fight, to charity hahah. Or when he said he suffered from depression (which has magically gone away now). Or when he said he failed the steroids test by eating wild boar meat hahaha.
Fury was the lineal champion and Joshua only HAD those belts BECAUSE of Fury. Another big fight squandered by Joshua and Eddie Hearn. Just like Fury said: they wanted to make Fury their "work boy" and run off with the lion's share of the money...

It's ok saying that but the fact is it was Furys choice to take PED's and get himself banned, Fury fans have this victim mentality that somehow AJ didn't "deserve" the belts because Fury got banned for PED's, which makes no sense

Also, Fury was offered a decent contract to face AJ, but went the wilder route to increase his money value, which is fair enough but again, not AJ's fault

I think Fury will beat AJ when it comes to it, but the victim mentality around Fury and the illogical hatred of AJ mean I really want AJ to chin him, just to see the meltdown

AJ doesnt have the one hitter quitter power that Wilder brings, but he is a big puncher in his own right along with being a more versatile and well schooled boxer. I think Fury wins a wide UD, doubt he even attempts to run through Joshua like he did with Wilder. That approach made sense against Wilder because he didnt wanna give him time to land his Hail Mary shot, but he can feasibly stay on the outside and outbox Joshua for 12 without any scares.

He's trying to get into AJ's head. He says what he says to plant a seed of doubt in there. He'll water and feed it and watch it grow. It's what he does.

Lineal Champion is BS. Fury made a big deal about it to make himself seem more relevant and get a fight with Wilder.
The lineal Champion is broken any time a Champion retires. It's a dotted line rather than a straight one and really means nothing today.

The Champion ALWAYS takes the Lion's share. Fury knows that so he is playing his fans for sympathy.

That's the way it has always been. The champion gets the lion's share, always has, always will.
The fact that you think it is wrong in some way is crazy.

Why should a champion risk his belts and career for the same money as a contender with nothing to loose?
It makes no sense and there has NEVER been a 50/50 purse share on a Championship fight unless it is an unclaimed belt.

It is completely ridiculous to suggest it is an injustice of some sort.

I want to see a Foreman/Holyfield type of match up between these two. Get in the ring and give us the undisputed fight like those two did.

Ali vs Frazier 1 was a 50/50 split. Also Ali was the lineal HW champion who had been stripped of his belts and Frazier was a unified HW champion so it was actually a very similar situation to Joshua vs Fury.

I think your post is pretty much accurate in regards to the victim mentality with Fury, this is one of the things that i agree with Wilder in the build up to their first fight.

Fury has this aura of not getting blamed for anything, if Wilder was the one who was on coke and obese pre-their fight then he would be called a cokehead, but somehow its everyone's fault but Fury.

We were all supposed to wait for when Fury comes back, the HW were not supposed to move on and fight to claim the belts that he didn't defend once. Shame that some people really can't see how dumb they sound to other people.

Ali was stripped of his title through injustice (Fury lost his due to testing dirty for PED, coke, mental health issues. Ali was still the cashcow over frazier before and after he lost his belts (Fury never was the or a cashcow). So no they don't really have similar situation.
