Does he get credit for that?

I don't think beating Leon Spinks or Larry Holmes in those conditions would add anything to his resume if I'm totally honest.

The truth of the matter is that both of those guys have very weak resumes, the difference is just that Tyson is being artificially built up whereas people are honest about Klitschko's resume.

But one thing you can't take away from Klitschko is that he fought everyone in his era that mattered at the best time for the opponent.

The same cannot be said for Tyson, for various reasons.
    *michael not Leon

You're wrong about those two fights. Because of what they achieved before, and in Holmes case, even after. When I initially saw the thread, I thought it was pretty close, but having actually gone into it a bit more Tyson absolutely has the better resume. He doesnt enough credit for some of those guys, and I think Wlad gets too much credit because their are more younger fans here. Guys like Tucker, and Tubbs would probably beat Wlad's best wins. Those guys had pedigree, were standout amateurs and good skilled pro's.

People sleep on some of Tysons wins. I was guilty of it in the past too. If you are comparing longevity and overall greatness, different question. But as far as names...100% its Tyson

That's a better win than any win on Douglas' resume.
only if Hasim beat retired shot to shyt Lennox Lewis, which is not remotely true.

        so another fake post.

          Please dude, please. Stop.

90s are the most overrated era ever. They all ducked each other except Holy fought them all.

45 old Foreman, the guy from 70s, was a champ and you say how great era it was. Lol.

Tyson is the guy from 80s, his peak was very shot, after he came from jail he didn`t have much success. the most memorable moments of Mike Tyson in 90s are being stopped by Holy in first fight and biting Holy`s ear in the second.

You’ll never catch me saying the 90’s had the best heavyweights but you’re clearly underrating Foreman. He was an exceptional physical specimen, even in his old age. The power, the toughness, the ring IQ. It all made for a very good fighter.

              Stop being childish.

How much do you know about guys Marchiano beat? How about opponents of Joe Louis?

Wladimir Klitschko is future HOF and 30 years from now nobody will care about they guys he beat. Just like now nobody cares how good were the guys Louis beat-.

That shows just how good Foreman was, and how strong the 70s were...it doesnt take a dump on the 90s. Foreman is top 5 maybe top 3 all time at heavy. Let's also not overlook the fact that Moorer was boxing his head off before Big George did what Big George does.

Please no, Foreman can`t be top 3 at heavy ever. He had too short reigns.

He is behind Ali, Holmes, Louis, Holy, Lennox that if for sure. But Foreman is top 10 of all time, sure.

Foreman defended undisputed successfully, twice. Lennox never did.
