Floyd should then have been pro active if his legacy meant anything to him. He shouldn't have fought nelo at cw, or should have rematched nelo and fought at 160, or sergio, or ggg.
Floyd cherry picked many fighters at end of their careers himself, and many of them in hindsight weren't even that good in first place or overated, so there's lots going against floyd he has to claw a lot back to catch Pac up and be alongside histories best.

Bobby, you could have had no promotion at all for Mayweather-Pac by that point and it would have smashed every record. I'm not sure there is any fight on the horizon that has any chance of touching Mayweather-Pac as a financial success.
