Floyd was favourite for a reason. Nel o was green and drained and although some had nel o bordering too ten pfp most didn't have him there.

He was #9 with Ring P4P and was ranked the #1 Light Middleweight in the world by both Ring Magazine and TBRB.

Just cause you dislike Mayweather doesn’t change that. It was a great win.

I think Floyd’s a c*** as well but I can’t take anything away from him as a fighter. He’s an ATG undoubtedly.

152 lbs when Canelo had weighed in at 153 his previous 2 fights, is nothing. And to Canelo and his teams credit, they said it was no factor. Would the 168 lb Canelo we see today have beaten that version of Mayweather? Yes. Prime vs prime at some mystery weight that would be fair? Mayweather was better.

But Canelo is really looking to build a legacy, he's just entering his prime and is active and will almost impossible to beat over the next 4 years. I believe if he cleans out all the big name fighters from 160 to 175 in the next 4 years he's an all time top 10 fighter.

I believe Canelo improved a lot because of the loss. His flaws were exposed and he worked to correct them. He’s clearly the #1 fighter in the sport now IMO. I do think he should have lost to GGG at least once and arguably twice but no other fighter is performing at the consistent high level that Canelo has been performing at over the last few years.

It was a great performance but not a great win. It might be Floyd's best win but that's only because Floyd's resume is a resume lacking truly great wins. If Floyd beat nel o now coming out of retirement then it would most certainly be one of the greatest wins of all times and nations.

Why isn’t it reasonable? You could objectively say Floyd should have fought more fighters in their primes. You could make the exact same claim in regard to Leonard not fighting Hagler until 87. Floyd isn’t some untouchable being who’s exempt from criticism.

Pac literally turned down $40 mil to fight JMM a 4th time for $28 mil. Manny also got Bob's son in law to give him stitches he didn't need to avoid Floyd once Nevada decided to delay Floyd's jail start date. Manny also refused to fight Floyd over PED testing. There is valid criticism for Floyd but most people do not bring up the correct reasons. He fought the best opposition when they were down to fight him. Just because Shane, ODL, Manny didn't wanna fight him sooner. There are only a handful of people who have a resume comparable to Floyd.
