Wladimir Klitschko is arguably the best heavyweight of all time.

I think Joe Louis is the best. I don’t agree with anyone who thinks it’s someone not named Joe Louis. But the opinion that Wladimir Klitschko is the best isn’t crazier than any other heavyweight people bring up in the greatest of all time discussion.

The people who attack him are silly. He did reign over a bad era, just like every other heavyweight champion in history outside of the 1970s and 1990s.

Some people give him no credit yet he is the 2nd most accomplished HW after joe Louis. They pull out 100 reasons to discredit him.

Vitali was better. Both were very good, though.

Among the era with Holyfield, Lewis, bowe, etc, he would have been knocked out

You are d a m n predictable. I could look at you screen name and wrote a synopsys of what you were going to say. Lol

At least you gave credit to his size. Lol.

          Lol.

Drop the bias, and speak truth instead.

My opinion? Vitali would have been hell for ANYONE in the 90s or before, Wlad, would have won some, but got caught by many. When it comes to Wlad, WITH manny, he had a high boxing IQ, and there were TONS of dumb a s s boxers in the 90s, 80s, 70s, and 60s.

He would have won more against the greats then he lost.

Both Klitschko's should be ranked at the top of any HW list.

One more thing. I rewatched Wilder vs Fury 1 yesterday, and if you want to compare Wilder's left hook to Wlad's, lol. It's like comparing grade school to college.

Though I've won almost every street fight I've been in, I got to say, that his left hook, is pathetic as mine. Lol

Bowe in his prime was one of the greatest!

His duck, right shoulder back, and then come up with an over hand right was a thing of beauty! I won a fight copying that move! Thank you Bowe!

Hate to see him broke! : (

Edited to add, I think it was the second Tillery fight that he executed that.... BEAUTIFUL move! Made Tillery turn his back to him! Studied and practiced that move over and over! Thing of BEAUTY! Bowe! One of my favorites!!

Just like Wladimir for Pulev, Mormeck, Haye, Chambers, Rahman, Chagaev, Pianeta and others. Only them fighting each other would make sense, but that never happened because they are brothers.

I like this era much more with Fury -Wilder fights, Joshua -Ruiz surprise and Fury and Joshua expected to fight each other.
Prime Haye/Povetkin would beat Fury, AJ and Wilder Easy ... you smoking mad crack european...

                      boring maybe, but unimpressive, no

nobody thought the guy who got blasted out by Sanders would rule for a decade

for a long time the heavyweight landscape appeared like this...

Klitschko... a gap... Povetkin... a gap... the rest...

the result of a Klitschko fight was almost certainly going to be a knockout win for Klitschko... Povetkin was the only guy people thought could possibly beat Wlad, unless you believed in Haye that is

when measuring greatness, the high-points are much more relevant than the low-points
Good points. I personally like the guy. My opinion is based upon his poor opposition that he had a major size advantage over. That factor in addition to fighting safe otherwise he'd get blown out of the water with yet another disaster doesn't raise an eyebrow for me for greatness it makes me acknowledge his ability to avoid an @rse kicking. Winning for 10 years with the possibility of a 4th embarrassing KO against a disadvantaged opponent always over your head must be acknowledged I must admit. I think Vitali is the man. in any era he is upper echelon. It bothers me he doesn't get the highest acclaim.
