  • Comments Thread For: Measured Against All Time: The Klitschkos Pt. 1 - Wladimir

By Cliff Rold - April 29, 2017, already three years ago, Wladimir Klitschko found himself in a place he'd avoided for more than a decade. On the floor. The Ring and BWAA fight of the year was already one of the great boxing events of the decade with a crowd of more than 90,000 at Wembley Stadium and global television that included a rare shared airing...

Only Vitali should be mentioned. Top 10 easy. Barely lost any rounds his whole career. Vlad, no chin, embarrassing loses, fought weak competition, used his height to grab jab hold jab right hold,,,BORING and not impressive.

we can clearly see from part 1, that is not the case at all

      boring maybe, but unimpressive, no

nobody thought the guy who got blasted out by Sanders would rule for a decade

for a long time the heavyweight landscape appeared like this...

Klitschko... a gap... Povetkin... a gap... the rest...

the result of a Klitschko fight was almost certainly going to be a knockout win for Klitschko... Povetkin was the only guy people thought could possibly beat Wlad, unless you believed in Haye that is

when measuring greatness, the high-points are much more relevant than the low-points

You could argue that vitali was more talented but wlad clearly had the better career

He fought the best available fighters like Haye and Povetkin, and I loved watching him kill American heavyweight boxing

No question the K2 bros had the HW division on lock after Lennox retired.

Both of them have my utmost respect. Especially Vitali. That beating he gave Shannon was serious and life threatening

Yeah but Shannon Briggs was shot to bits lol.

The equivalent would be AJ or Fury fighting current Ruslan Chagaev

I like vitali but that wasn't inpressive

True, but Shannon hyped the hell out the fight. He had me believing he could do it

I would've loved to see him vs Haye
