Brothers looked boring because their opponents ******. Shame they never fought at least old version Holyfield or Mike Tyson.

Klitschkos did what champs are supposed to do: beat all the rest.

      Good for you Hercules
Hercules? In ways, yeah! I've had mthr fkrs quit, after I've landed a couple of shots. Didnt even have to get dirty.

At the same time though, I pride myself in NOT having an ego to protect, so you totally missed the mark there. In a second, I can admit that I'm s h i t compared to many. I know what I have done though, so I tell it like it is, and am proud of it.

The biggest problems I have in dealing with the world, is people with FAKE egos to protect. They will lie, cheat, and back stab, to protect that fake ego, and would rather slit their own throat, then to give someone else credit.

Life is much easier, when you can sit back, and give props to those who deserve it!

I work with a fricken genius, but he is humble, and gives others credit. Those kinds of people are few and far apart.

So, I ask again, who should they fight?

Lennox retired after he beat Vitali in 2003.
Mike Tyson was irrelevant after Lennox beat him in 2002.

Only Holy was around, as I already mentioned.

Vitali's fine by me, as far as I'm concerned he at least tried to have a great name on his resume at some point.

I understand for later in Wlad's career. There was a dry up of both talent and interest and that sucks for him, but people act like he never had the opportunity in his career to make good fights against names in the division.

That's just not true. He never even tried to make any fight worth a damn. He went up the WBO ranks at a time when the WBO was not a major body while totally avoiding the major body ranks who at that time held names that would have looked good on an early Wlad resume.

Dude's a champion by 04, but for the **** title. So of course his mandos are also ****.

Tua or Valuev, hell, in 2003, Wlad could have fought either Roy or even Ruiz and that would have been a good win for him.

You can say the old guys would be bad wins but you're projecting time frames. An old Holy is a good win for a young Wlad, no?

Wlad lost to Puritty in the late 90s not Evander. If the dude was even trying to have a resume he'd've gotten at least one of the old guys early in his career. Most guys who are considered ATGS do. A loss to Evander in the late 90s would be better than a loss to Ross is for him because at least the silver lining is like Vitali-Lennox. Wlad would have at least tried to have beaten a great fighter.

Wlad did not opt to fight the HOFs early in his career, he did not opt to fight the peers who debuted around his time and had a big buzz about them, he went for the weakest title available, fought through the weakest ranking available, and fought mandatories exclusively while waiting for the old guard to not just be beaten by new guys like Ruiz and Jones but also for them to be cleared out by even easier competition who never achieved half as much and like Wlad himself never fought anyone worth a damn.

I reckon his best win is Byrd. I respect that win, the timing of that win and the name, but, as much as I like Byrd that's a piss poor name for a guy who's fighting for a minor title by 98. Stayed well clear of the Grants and Golotas.

On top of that, I don't like how he let guys like Povetkin decide when they're ready for him. Pov ducked Wlad for like a decade and Wlad just let that **** happen. Pov fought Wlad's leftovers to keep rank for a long time when I'm not so sure he actually deserved to be top ranked. Wlad just allowed Pov to play the ranks and made no effort to make a vol and pressure Pov....ergo, he made no effort to fight the man who was widely considered the number two to him for a long ass time and we were subject to piss poor title fights because of it.

There's having unfortunate timing and then there's sitting around waiting for something to just come to you. Wlad's very much the second.

Imagine Wlad's later career, with Wilder or Bermane in there, and in his early career he fought some more guys around the Byrd level at least. Maybe Grant, Holy, Tyson, Tua, Ibeabuchi, Golota, Ruiz, Roy, hell even Toney, for his early career. Not all of them, just, you know, more than Byrd alone. Like three of them, pick any three and sprinkle them in between Puritty and Byrd. Valuev in 07 instead of Ray Austin who always ****** and instead of Rahman in 08 it's Pov in 08. From 09-2011 can stay as is, those are fine for that era, but 12-15 was well ****ed again. Mormeck ******, he could have fought Adamek instead. Bermane in 2013 instead of Pov, who should have been on Wlad's resume anytime from 08 forward. 14-17 is fine, clearly Wilder would have looked good for him in that time though and while you can say Wilder ducked Wlad but Wlad never pushed to fight Wilder anyway.

And just to be clear, I'm not holding it against Wlad these fights didn't happen. I'm holding it against him he never even tried. There was no attempt early to make interesting fights, there was a piss poor attempt in the middle portion of his career, and by the later end of his career we're happy just to see him against a guy like ****ing Pulev...****ing sad. All the while not once making any move for undisputed, not even while Vitali is retired. No vols to ****e up his resume because good boxers, or at least well respect at that time, are ducking him. Just no attempt at all to do anything for his resume.

I feel like he could have tried harder to have a more inarguable resume. Good names early, win or lose, is nice to see and since he did lose early they really should have been good names....and there were plenty. More decent names like Chagaev and Byrd and such during the middle period, even if they didn't happen or he lost at least he tried. More pressure of guys who were building up to be the next big thing after him later in his career. Canelo was young but he's still a good win for Floyd.

Just to remind you 2014 by Ring:

                Alexander Povetkin
                Bermane Stiverne
                Tyson Fury
                Kubrat Pulev
                Bryant Jennings
                Deontay Wilder
                Vyacheslav Glazkov
                Mike Perez
                Chris Arreola
                Ruslan Chagaev

Wlad fought Pulev and Leapai, both mandos of course because Wlad only fights mandos. Bermane would look good in there.

If he had more of the better names from the periods his career spans or at least tried to I'd agree Wlad fought the best guys he could, but he didn't, he fought Alex and Kubrat and called it a year. He could have fought Bermane. There's not a single period in his career that sort of thing isn't true. He made no attempt and hide by the excuse of mandatories.

Joshua has mandos right now, Joshua's also pushing for Fury. Wlad just didn't do that stuff. At all, ever. Easiest title, easiest ranks, easiest time frames, easy mandos, just a nice easy career.
