This isn't about boxing politics, it's about facts. His resume isn't top-6 in the division. And from my view...he also can't be the contenders that round up my top-10.

How about let him take a fight against a legit top-5 HW to show he belongs there?
Funny thing about facts is that everyone's got a different idea of which the pertinent ones are. I already spelled out my rationale, man, if you don't agree I ain't fussed but neither am I likely to change my mind in the absence of new fight results.

But yeah, sure, I would hope he does fight a legit decent guy next, that might give us a better picture of where he is right now.

You answered your own question with the last paragraph. He has to earn it by beating a legit top-5 guy.

He is top 10 but most of the top guys can beat him. Besides Fury and Joshua, I'm pretty sure Whyte, Ruiz and Parker beat him.

Whyte is tough, strong and he is a puncher and a brawler, and he is not someone who can be knocked out with one punch.

Ruiz and Parker have two of best chins in the division (third being Wach), and they are both skilled, fast and have good engines. Ruiz will bamboozle him and KO him, Parker will decision him.

Most likely we'll never know though as they don't fit the profile of a Wilder opponent (chinny, pillow fisted, slow, old, bum, etc.)

His power is not overrated at all. I think he can beat every hw except for Fury, who has his number. You're just plain ****** if you think he has no power. He also has an elite chin.

Of course he is a top 10 heavyweight. He was champ for years and has only one loss to fury. Don't say we now know his power is only a media creation when you speak only for yourself and nobody else. His power is very real and exceptional. Fury wasn't down for a long count because he tripped. a very hard right followed by a left put him there. All those other guys he left for dead speak volumes about his punching power. He is a big puncher for sure. Other pro boxers say he is a big puncher. No opponent of Wilder including Fury has ever told us he does not punch hard and in fact he knocked them all out.

Fury won't walk through the biggest puncher in history. The likes Molina, Duhaupas, Szpilka, Arreola et al won't take 15-20 straight right from the biggest puncher in history and still be standing.

LMAOO at Wilder who was made out of glass and made to quit by pillowfisted Fury having an elite chin. Low IQ having bellend. LMAOOOO.

Szpilka ate like 15-20 punches of that power until he succumbed in the 9th rd. LMAOOOO.

Legit my left butt. Yes, everyone's right hand would be legit if they fought cream puffs and fighters signed to the same company that won't mind taking a dive since they know got the opportunity by crooked means.

For now, of course he is. He's still top five in my books, until we see how he comes back at least.

Of course he's a limited fighter, who relies pretty much solely on his power. He's getting older, and he's had injury problems. That said though, he has freakish generational power, so as long as he's reasonably healthy he's dangerous for ANY heavyweight.
