Judah may be the best name on his resume but why should he basically do a favor for Zab and give him a title shot when he wouldn't do the same for Margarito? Furthermore Margarito has the excuse that he is TRYING to make a name for himself so he has to fight guys like Judah (coming off of 2 straight losses) but Floyd is already "the man" so he doesn't have that excuse. Your opinion on Williams is based on his performances against guys that aren't of Cintron's caliber. Clearly Ring Magazine thinks Cintron is a better figher.

Floyd did try for the fight multiple times, but I put blame on both sides. Hatton's side for wanting "more time and experience" before fighting Floyd. And on Floyd for not pushing harder for the fight. A fight like this is good for the sport and should be made even if there are costs to be paid. Floyd should have lowered his money demands or gone to England... some sort of sacrifice to show that he REALLY wanted the fight but Hatton wouldn't accept.

I agree that it would build his resume, but from Margarito's perspective why would he put Zab back on the map? Margarito can gain exposure/legitimacy fighting several opponents so I have no problem with him not giving Zab a shot right now. Let Zab win a fight before he gets another shot at a title.

Also despite what Floyd may think being the #2 contender proves that he does deserve a shot especially considering he was bumped from #1 when Floyd moved up.
