Floyd was once in ESPN saying after the Gatti fight watch the Mayweather-Hatton fight. but hatton wasn't ready to step up yet. BTW, if Floyd fights Spinks, i think it would be boring fight. Both are counter punchers and after landing punches, they both run away. Who'll chase who???

how can you compare the #2 welter calling out the #1 welter when neither had an opponent set to fight and plenty of money satisfy Floyds ego..to

a bunch of random fighter ALL OF A SUDDEN calling Marg out and half of them arent even in the same weight class??

Have you watched any recent Floyd fights?

Floyd leads now more than he counter-punches, and in the last few years, he's done more stalking than running.

I didn't see Floyd running against:

          Judah
          Mitchell
          Gatti
          Brusseles
          Corely
          N'dou

In all of those fights (his last 6) he was the aggressor, pressing the action.

I think it's obvious that Floyd has changed his style. And he's said many times that he's changed his style to become more crowd pleasing (AKA to become a PPV fighter). He's a lot more offensive than he used to be, and he doesn't run at all anymore.

I don't like to use the term duck for either, but Margarito-Mayweather made more sense considering the circumstances than any of Margarito's challengers. I would have settled for Baldomir, but Spinks???

              Paul Williams
              Sharmba Mitchell
              Zab Judah
              Carlos Quintana

are all welters... and Williams is Margarito's MANDATORY.

If Floyd is scared of Margarito.
Then Margarito is scared of Williams.

Yes they are all welters. Sharmba Mitchell has lost 2 of his last 3 bouts by KO...enough said. Judah ****ed over Margarito when he was the champ so Margarito is giving him some of his own medicine...I have no problem with that. Quintana and Williams are both good prospects but realize that Ring Magazine ranks Kermit Cintron above both of them at WW and Margarito destroyed him. Cintron has more of a right to a rematch than any of these guys do.

I don't care... a Mitchell on his resume would help make a fight with Floyd, and would definitely be one of his best wins.

Zab Judah would be by far and away the best name on his resume (the same person people criticize Floyd for fighting) and if Margarito destroyed Zab (which I doubt) that would make a Floyd-Margarito fight so much more lucrative and appealing.

I think it's obvious that Williams is better than Cintron, quite a bit better, actually.

and I haven't seen enough of Quintana.

if Marg feels like everyone's ducking him, he should move to junior middle. i think he has the size, lot of good fights there. Although he wasn't successful on his try before, he should have improved by now.

What do you mean you don't care? Mitchell is shot PERIOD. Judah may be the best name on his resume but why should he basically do a favor for Zab and give him a title shot when he wouldn't do the same for Margarito? Furthermore Margarito has the excuse that he is TRYING to make a name for himself so he has to fight guys like Judah (coming off of 2 straight losses) but Floyd is already "the man" so he doesn't have that excuse. Your opinion on Williams is based on his performances against guys that aren't of Cintron's caliber. Clearly Ring Magazine thinks Cintron is a better figher.
