Stephen Edwards is my Sensei for all Saturday's.

What in the earth people still don't move on of the fight of Sugar Ray Leonard vs Marvin Hagler. This fight was not close decision type of either way, Sugar Ray Leonard win a close competitive fight very clear, but never close to go either way. Why to this day people find narrative of why that fight is for Marvin Hagler.
PS: I notice the comment section is narrowing each week in the Daily Bread Mailbag.

That's unfortunate I suppose. I just like that Breadman is putting it out there that most people back their own when they see a fight. Nobody wants to openly say it but I think deep down most of us know that.

                      Folks still bringing up Hagler.

Up until SRL all Marvin's fights were over 15. I don't think he & his team thought out what the 12 round distance meant.

On my recollection the first 6 rounds went 4 to SRL, 1 to Marvin & a draw. then SRL clearly won R7. So, Marvin couldn't afford to lose or draw one other round. But SRL won R9. Yes, he 'shoeshined' & the punches had no power but he landed punches & won the round. Once he did that, all SRL had to do in R10-12 was stay on his feet & Marvin couldn't win.

                      Out-manouvered & out-thought.
