    Hi Ray,

(Tried sending through PM but you seem to have them disabled.)

I noticed after doing some digging on Eric Crumble that you posted a picture of him many years ago, specifying that he's the one with the black curls. Is that a real picture, and if so, where is it from? Hope you don't mind satisfying my curiosity a bit.

    Thanks,

Delusional. That was not a knockdown, feet got tangled. You must be a Windmill fan.

          • This is a Russell read only:

Look man you are one of the most underrated fighters today but if you keep harping over this past loss, the future is only going to be like Jesus to the unsaved. People will say I don’t know U, I never did! The kid can fight and he won, move on or fight again. As we said back in the day, put up or shut up!

            I’m just saying

              Ha ha ha!!! Exactly

In the last 5 years, Gary could have unified the 126Ibs division and the 130Ibs division. He’s got a good style aka fan friendly and is Roy Jones fast!!

But instead all he does is talks about Loma.
Had he unified those two weight classes, a rematch with Loma at 135 would have been a guaranteed $20 million pay day. He’d have build a great resume even if he got beat by Loma again.

Let it go. They don't understand the rules that say, when a punch lands, it should be counted.

And like I covered on my scorecard...I had Russell losing clearly but CLOSE. Nowhere near a blowout.

                • Stats for the fight were not as close as the scoring by one judge

Loma's stats against Russell for their fight, look them up. Now this would have been a good fight, Commey is a very likable person, akin to Loma. That's a fight of two ambassadors.

Yeah, I like Gary and support fighters from the DMV but I remember having it more one-sided in terms of rounds (9-3 or 10-2). I felt like GRJ just couldn't get his punches off and when he did he couldn't land them, he was like a missile launcher that simply couldn't get a lock on the target.

Gary is a cerebral fighter but I felt he was outclassed that night. Maybe dehydration played a part, maybe not. I wouldn't mind seeing him against either Teo or Loma. I think the Teo fight would be very interesting.

                    • Well looking at the punch ratio, Gary was throwing a lot but coming up short.
