It's pretty damn subpar. And the biggest name of them, Korobov, nearly beat him (and many felt he deserved the win). I understand there is alot of politics that can prevent fighters from proving themselves but it gets a little stale watching Jermall beat his chest and talk how much of a lion he is after he KOs someone the likes of Centeno, Heiland or Hogan.

you’re making a lot of assumptions. If AJ crowd was more populated and ticket prices cost more than wilder why wasn’t AJs purse reported to the New York State Athletic Commission?Well he's breaking UK PPV records. Cheaper than US but the numbers make up for that. His last fight sold over 1.5 ppvs at £25 so the fight made over £37.5 mil/$48.8 on uk PPV alone thats before the reported monster site fees and DAZN rights fee are added.
And you can see the crowds he draws on your television. Had more fans in his fight in the US against Ruiz with higher ticket prices than Wilder did fighting Breazealle.
Also has alot of big corporate sponsorships compared to the other fighters
You'd have to be pretty delusional to suggest he isn't 'raking it in' he is atleast the second biggest draw in boxing.
Pretty fkn weird to be des*****g this point about AJ.
Also Wilder v Fury II grossed more revenue than any fight AJs been involved in.
It’s not weird to need proof of AJs earnings when his fan base make it a point to brag about it and use it as an excuse when big fights don’t get made. When AJ is offering 12.5% I need to know whyComment

great breakdown. Finkel said the same thing about the DAZN offer which he learned from Don King... the $100M sounds good until you find out AJs getting $200MLoL, as always with hearn it's the details in the fine print that are probably stopping an Andrade/Charlo fight. Jermall referred him to Al Haymon 'cause everyone knows that's who reviews the contract to weed out the BS.
When it comes to Haymon accepting any big fights with hearn, it will probably only go forward if PERCENTAGES can be agreed on. PBC isn't gonna be shortballed on a big promotion just because it's a fighters biggest payday. If the other guy is getting 12 million, and they're both Champions ... 7 million (while a nice payday for most) isn't FAIR against the revenue the fight will draw. Same logjam as the hearn proposed Wilder/AJ contracts. hearns basic negotiating stance of "we're A side so we get twice the money is BS and until PBC has to accept that (if ever), they won't be down for that ...
hearn knows it, so he's just clowning for the fan-girls and UK piublic .... trying to look like he is making "lifetime' offers .....
I.e. more BSComment

Intersting, but you don't understand what you've said. If PBC/Showtime/Foxsports put on an Andrade/Charlo fight, I'm sure they could pay both fighters easily (yes Charlo's $7 Mill), and probably even better. I think the fight would happen easily if PBC/Showtime/Foxsports could sign dazn fighters to fight. The financials would be easy to make for champions. hearn & co. know that, thus they would never allow it ... they want control ... but then all their fears of losing control show up in unnecessary contract BS. Thus, even when offering good money, they struggle to get fighters they don't "own".
So, I hear your passion for hearn/dazn. But your argument is full of holes. From a fan perspective, I really don't care who makes the fight ... but I understand fighters being wary of all the contract BS. Who wants to be "owned" involuntarily?Comment

All well and good guessing "PBC could probably pay better" they haven't been trying and they didn't for Wilder Breazealle finkel confirmed that saying they'd make it up to Wilder in future because they've got a cunning plan...
Hearns always said if a fighter gets a bigger offer from the other network they can take it and PBC never make the offers they just talk a big game also Hearn has let a couple of his champs on top rank shows so its more proof he would.
No ones getting owned, this is another bit of misinformation used as an excuse to duck, lots of one fight deals with everything up for negotiation but the PBC guys don't bother going to the negotiation table. It's all clear for everyone to see who's not serious.Comment
