Not going to discredit the Pac-Man but let’s not forget the catchweights that propelled him into the stratosphere.
Cotto - Catchweight of 145
Margarito - 150 catchweight
Oscar - 147 weight class (Oscar hadn’t fought at WW in 5 year)
Marquez - catchweight of 144
Also, let’s not forget the BUMS Pac-Man fought at 147
Brandon Rios (has lost his last fight at 140)
Mathysse (was rebuilding after a loss to Garcia)
Broner (coming off two losses and a draw)
Algieri (nobody knew him prior to the fight)
Horn (virtual unknown too. Beat PAC anyway)
Lastly, fought Mosley and Clottey right after they had lost.
I don’t see much glitter in that but he beat Thurman and Bradley so I can’t knock on thatComment

So you admit you measure fighters with a different stick. Good to know, that way I know who likes discussing boxing and who likes to troll people.
Without knowing you, I bet you that you consider Pac an 8 division world champion but don't acknowledge Cotto as a real lineal MW Champion.
Without knowing you I bet you believe GGG tied Hopkins' title fight record at MW, but don't consider Canelo a 4 division champion.
Without knowing you I bet you condemned the Canelo-Khan fight, but was gave GGG a pass twice, one against Brook, and the other against Martirosyan.
I also can almost guarantee you favored Golovkin to KO Canelo both times.
Right?
LMAO

dis thead gun be gudComment

Sooo, he wants to retire at the same age mayweather was when (according to Canelo fans) , he took advantage of what they call a young wet behind the ears Canelo? Got it.Comment

I would have liked to see the age of Canelo in the article. Of course I could google it, but I feel in an article about the retirement age of a boxer there should be the current age so one gets the estimate of how many years are left.
Edit: I googled - he is 29, so roughly 6-7 years left if everything goes according to plan.
Hes the number 1 fighter on the planet, they figured people on a boxing website would know or atleast have a good idea.Comment

I think you have a point on the 2nd paragraph...GGG didn't exactly tie Hopkins record, but you could make a case he did...Canelo isn't exactly a real 4 weight world champion, but you could argue he is.So you admit you measure fighters with a different stick. Good to know, that way I know who likes discussing boxing and who likes to troll people.

The other stuff, you just sound ****** man...Pac is a legit multi-weight world champ...Cotto maneuvered to get the lineal MW title, it's a poor comparison...he was lineal at MW but it isn't nearly as impressive and noteworthy as what Pac did rising up the weights.
Canelo, out of all the fighters in the world, picked Amir Khan lol....GGG was signed to fight Eubank, he backed out, and Hearn conned Brook into taking the fight on short notice...GGG only fought Vanes because your boy Canelo pissed dirty dude lol...how is that on GGG...so ******.Comment
