"One of Canelo's keys to staying at the very top and boasting just a single loss on his record, is to fully surround himself with judges."

    There fixed it for you.

And he should have lost against Lara.

      Not very impressed.

Give him some fighters in their primes to find out how good he really is.

That is a pretty damn good resume. He’s 29 years old right now. How young was he when he was taking some of these fights ? And outside of Mosley, everyone else on this list was a CHAMPION at the time of the fight, top 3 in the division at the time he faced them.

And Lara was close and could have gone either way. I thought Alvarez lost too, honestly. But that’s my opinion and does not negate the win. Close wins count too guys. Not like Lara went in there and dominated and took the fight. Certainly not like Lara won some clear cut decision and it was some preposterous robbery. Just because a fight was close and didn’t go the way you thought it should have does not mean the win doesn’t count.

No, he should have a L and a draw to GGG. He legit beat Lara, but as usual there was that one card that was way off. 117-111? Another pre- filled card.

Yes he deserves to retire at 37. He's had quite a few fights

I am not impressed with the guy with so many controversial close decisions.

And people criticize Joshua for beating Ruiz 12-0 in rounds and stopping guys like Whyte, Povetkin.

Give me a break, Joshua is far bigger boxing face than Canelo.

Edit: I googled - he is 29, so roughly 6-7 years left if everything goes according to plan.
That’s how atg’s work. Pacquiao was fighting hatton or cotto around 29 too. Floyd oscar. These guys already had resume’s. Crawford was on his way as a guy that unified 140 at 28. His big breaks were gonna be at welter if the division wasn’t being ***ed in the ass by Haymon.

I personally don't see his body lasting till that age. Something will give.

Exactly my thoughts. I think he has like 5 fights left tops and he's gonna be out. No need to keep fighting anymore, the money is already made, the legacy, as far as I'm concerned, is already made considering his natural abilities and attributes. 32 would be a great age to retire for him.

Yeah that’s sort of how I see it. I think he’s got 8 fights left on this DAZN deal so he’ll probably finish that then retire.
