No , actually they are written by putting a gun to the fighters head
It can turn out blue or very red
    Do you think ?

Or a legal document the fighter is bound to.

It isn't and they make mistakes but think about all the guys that were shelved because they signed contracts they later didn't like.

Ward lost in court to Goosen three times. Garcia was on the shelf because he wanted to get out of his. Mayweather, Pac, Cotto all had to fight to get out of their contracts.

I am saying once they sign, they don't always have choices as the contracts can give promoter a lot of power in who they fight.

I think promoters do take advantage of up and comers by throwing cash at them and it's easy for the fighters to take the bait because they've never seen 100k 500K whatever before so they sign.
It's only later when they see how much they maybe could have made it becomes a different story.
It's a hindsight is 20/20 type of thing.
I think when you are younger and probably poor, it's harder to look at things long term and even listen to people trying to guide you right.

                  Totally agree
It’s a hard business , where everyone is trying to make a buck off you
But the older guys usually have a big say

They do. The older established guys don't have the excuses the young pups do.

I do think that if a promoter doesn't like another promoter they can really mess up even an established guy's career by using the right of refusal in their contracts.
The key is once u get successful, get a damn good lawyer.
