You just named a bunch of guys who fought in multiple divisions and I just explained to you how I consider the heavyweights to be in an open division, meaning it operates differently to all the rest. If you want to know of other dominant one division champs outside of heavyweight we have Abe Attell, Kostya Tsuyu and Dariusz Michaelzewski. Not too many of them as good as Monzon though. Only Hagler and certain heavyweights.
Rank the following Middleweights

I don't know how you can be so wrong on so many counts.Dude, it's not "who", but "when".... Many of the guy's you mentioned were already beaten LMAO So who beat them before Monzon?
And how do you get 9 draws fighting in your own country as an ATG star?
Just listen to yourself man.
And LMAO at even mentioning Monzons slow as mallassas jab to Holmes.
You should be carried to a firing squadComment

He’s an idiot...
He’s literally admitted he hasn’t watched or even researched Monzon, so how does his opinion hold any credibility?
He needs to get a life ASAP.Comment

He must think that anyone who has a number of losses is ****. He forgets that Monzón went on one of the longest undefeated runs ever. Only guys like Jimmy Wilde topped it at 104 fights which is insane, another great champ in my view. Betcha he's never heard of him either.Comment

And yes, I named a bunch of guy's who arguably dominated their division better than Monzon and was arguably greater in their division.
Spinks is probably the greatest Light Heavy you'll find. And he didn't need 3 losses and 9 draws to do it, Mr. Historian.
I mean come on man. You make a silly claim and then turn around and say Heavyweights don't count, doe.

One division champions. Even compared to heavyweights he's up there too due to the names on his résumé. Holmes doesn't come close. Ali isn't quite there either. Louis is the same. He quite literally could be that but I know that heavyweights are considered more often to be superior and again, they don't have the factor of having to make weight, so it's not worth having the argument with you.

It’s like criticising Hagler for losing to Bobby Watts or Monroe Sr. Just low effort trolling really.
Wilde was incredible, a freakish puncher, you could probably make a reasonable argument he’s Britain’s greatest ever fighter. A flyweight with nearly 100 KO’s who was 100 lbs wet through, he was a freak of nature.Comment
