Here's the problem with that statement-2 wrongs never make a right.

The post is about Devin Haney and it is current-it is NOT about Kovalev. Kovalev did however receive backlash-perhaps not as much as you would like, but he has long been critiqued of making racist statements.

In all of this, I am trying to understand if this is your way of giving Haney a "get out of jail free card" on the premise that someone else did something that resembles racism, or if you think this language is acceptable.

If it is the vocal standard to say "white boy"-then surely you think it is acceptable to start referencing people solely by race and nothing more.

I can point hypocrisy all i want. Dudes saying if a white guy said etc. Why can't i bring up how dudes "always" brushing away, downplaying racism towards non-whites on here.

Literally anytime it happens dudes claim your crying and whining when this forum has an obsession with blacks. Its not even enough white boxers in the sport to have equal bS towards them.

Yall not finna silence... Im not a radical black... I admit Haney was wrong but im still black at the end if the day... And ima gonna point out the BS.... Meanwhile dudes have to go on YouTube to find B.S. from the LDBC to say anything.

I believe that he was out of his element, trying to sound tough n cool but he hasn’t yet mastered the game. Around the same age you’ll find that Tyson Fury was sloppy and awkward with the trash talk as well. Young guy whose brain is still developing and doesn’t know anything about life yet. I'm not making any excuses for Haney. He's an idiot! I was responding to the person who posted that "Most Americans, especially African-Americans, don't know much about different ethnic groups...see the whole world in black and white." That's pretty accurate, but it's because of the race relations in America, including slavery and Jim Crow. People forget that Dr. King was killed only 52 years ago. So basically America has only been trying to right it's wrongs for 50 years out of the past 400. Time heals all wounds!
