It's the same thing with musicians and artists. If they say something some of their fans don't agree with, say political stance or some other opinion or belief, they stop listening to that artist! I find that pretty pathetic really. If you had to like the personality and beliefs of every artist whose music you enjoy, you probably wouldn't listen to much music. James Brown was a ball busting pri_ck who overworked his musicians and paid them very little but he was still a revolutionary soul singer who basically defined funk. He also being a coked out nutcase later in his life but that doesn't change his contributions to modern art and music.

Yet people like redeemer call you ******... Isn't it a nice irony that results when people think they understand an issue and just flat out do not? Yes let us all go around and call people out for remarks made! Lets form committees to do so! Lets have rewards! and lets have real consequences as well!

Lets let the government and authorities and lets let public opinion all work together as one big happy, multi ethnic, multisexual family to promote proper language! Context be damned...

During the **** regime one of the most guillable groups turned out to be the University. Hegel had primed them well...with his classes aimed to resurge nationalist sentiments. It is said that at precisely the same time Schopenhauer, a real philosopher (I may add) had no students come to his classes.

People like some of the dumber posters here do not see how close it comes to censorship, if a rebuke is exxagerated. When we do not make allowances for people using language they are comfortable using, and shrug it off. Shrugging it off turns out to be the smarter thing to do. Imagine that!

I once asked my late dad about this. I am half ***, my dad being the *** and my dad was a well known musician back in the day (symphony). I asked him about Wagner, who was a racist to the core. My dad told me that when people create beautiful music, it is beautiful music... I agree with that and I know that my parents both thought long and hard on this issue.

My father would not rebuke Wagner for having a past as a bad person but the angriest I ever saw my parents as a kid was the time I got angry at them and ripped up an art project I had made for them... at 55 I still remember how It took me all of 30 seconds to realize "Uh oh.... I fvked up!"

Sorry but that’s something Haney would want to censor now if he could . If you think that was a non issue in sports where race is always prevelant in a one on one sport that will get extra attention when anyone uses the race card and with the virus itself going to lend attention to something now because anything is fair game if it’s news worthy ,then I’d say you are on the wrong side of the street as well.

How much you want to bet his father chewed him out for it ? Do you think he agrees with your post as a mistaking remark that doesn’t effect his career and you think it’s about censorship not a young boxers image and everyone will shrug it off and you think I’m the dumb one ,not the other poster either who cant see the big deal and sees no harm in why it is ? Maybe you should start reading your own posts on who you think is dumb , because I’ve seen you have a scary pattern here siding with not so bright posters often then you should on here , just a thought. Ha

Edit : The comment was bad enough it didn’t help he’s actually on a racist channel saying it did you bother to even include this in your irony comparison of what I don’t understand ,but you do about **** regiment and censorship as if that’s what’s at stake here not a young boxers marketing value where it does effects whoever puts financial backing into him ? Ha

Regarding the **** situation: The irony is that the most authoritative regimes always try to censor language. Hence... while it may be with the best of intentions that one rebukes the use of certain words, it tends to have an opposite effect. This is not an opinion it is a fact.

The channel the comment was made upon is irrelevant. Sometimes the best we can do is let words be words... Nobody has the power to declare that words be fair.... Heres a little ditty to help remember this understanding by:

No one has the power to declare
That words be be proper, just, or fair.

For words absorb all of our pleasure and despair...
And words alone, decide the relevant and what to spare.

Only a fool would seek to whittle thy words and pare
For truly it can be said: "words do not care!"

No one around Haney thinks it was a good thing , you can write a history lesson but that’s not changing what the actual incident was and if he goes back on any of those channels you call irrelevant he’s as lost as posters thinking it’s a non issue. In the real world things like this aren’t and never will be a good business decision, how so ? Ha

The bolded: a red herring. Does not matter.

Haney is a young guy who made a statement like many guys do, and it is up to others to decide the consequences. I doubt this statement will affect his business, as much as winning, or losing in the ring... I know that English is not your first language and all, but you perfectly express yourself! You are a dolt, with a good mix of insolence.

So by all means keep chasing that red herring upstream dolt...By golly when you catch it let me know and we will celebrate!

After all this I wonder how many barbershops realized their favourite put down is now a no-no.
