He may not have gotten the decision, but Paul would have won that fight. Alvarez didn't have the experience to deal with that workrate yet and he would have gotten outworked.

Young Canelo didn't have the feet to be fleet footed back then. P-Will would've won a clear UD.

These 4 all have good resumes but not a single one faced Paul:

        Floyd

        Mosley

        Cotto

        manny

Definitely one the most avoided opponents in modern times
To be fair to all of those guys , Paul was jumping around in weight and no one ever really knew where he was planning to fight

Yup - and at a time when there were big questions about Canelo's stamina....really wanted to see that fight.

Pavlik v Williams is another fight that was signed but called off a couple of times due to Pavlik's being injured I think.

williams was shot by that point. that first martinez fight ruined him. it would have been a canelo ko and that was what he was searching for. thats why his list of names included kirkland, victor ortiz, and williams. people actually like to list that as some kind of proof canelo wasn't cherry picking? i mean seriously? williams had been ko'd cold, loked horribled vs cintron, dominated by lara, and unsteady vs ishida. it was over. kirkland had been ko'd recently and same with ortiz who was a ww. i never understood that list. it was a literal cherry pickers heaven because canelo wanted a name fighter for his ppv but ended up with lopez.

Have you ever posted anything positive? You have to be 1 of the most negative people ive ever encountered. I dont even know how you enjoy boxing when all you do is complain.

                    This is fake news.

Williams had already been KTFO by Sergio and was out on his feet multiple times against Lara. The PWill Canelo was going to fight was punch drunk damaged goods.

That wouldve been a stoppage win for Canelo guaranteed.

Now the PWill that beat Margarito..different story. But the PWill that wouldve fought Canelo?? Canelo wins that 9/10 times
