Don't need trilogy. 160 might be a squeeze too.

Don't think it will work, because Canelo did not know what to expect from Kovalev so he was cautious and fought at a measured pace, but he knows Golovkin all too well. If GGG fights as Kovalev did, he will be toast. Canelo would take him out within 7 rounds.

Being juiceup, it will be a walk in the park for Clenbuterol Clenero making 160.

I guess it's the money more than the legacy with the Canelo camp and Reynose. That's why getting GGG to fight a third time is targeted when he along with most fans couldn't care much to see happen.
The only reason we will see a trilogy with GGG is because of DAZN's fanatical fixation on that fight and the fact that Skipper sweetened the pot for Canelo. It sure wasn't Canelo's idea. Was Zurdo a true champion? He is not a particular problem for elite boxers. Zurdo has a high work-rate, good height and reach but not much else going for him.

Yeah that would be great but nobody can beat Clenero on points (it's in the contract ).

There's no bigger fight for both, I don't think Canelo is willing to go through that war again even vs faded Golovkin, he remembers that punching power, for sure he would prefer fat Saunders

This is why I don't want to see a 3rd fight, anything besides a ko is a robbery,& regardless of what Nelo does it will be discredited (esp. if he loses his accomplishments are forgotten by the same few scorned who picked him to win in a supposed cherrypick)
I see your point...but a lot of us on here will never give credit to some guys, no matter what...so for me I just want to see fights that intrigue me...usually that is the best fighting the best.

The 3rd fight to me has a lot of intrigue still...what does GGG have left? Can Canelo continue to improve? Can Canelo win one clean on my card? Can Canelo hurt GGG, or vice versa?

Idk I'm interested...I'd probably pay $20 every time to see them fight, until one of them gets KOed or says they don't want it anymore.

If one guy gets stopped, I would probably favor GGG to get stopped...but in general I agree with your point...I think Canelo knows how tough those 2 fights were, especially fight 2 where he held his own in the center of the ring against GGG, and he knows how dangerous that felt in there...I don't know if he can get as motivated again as he was for fight 2 - Canelo had everything to prove in that fight.

The whooping Derevyanchenko meted out has taken away whatever aura was remaining.

Having said that, Respect to both GGG and CANELO.they fought 24 rounds and all were super close
SD gave GGG his toughest fight and has a legit claim for beating GGG...Canelo can't say that.

Yes definitely adds some intrigue for fight 3
