I'd give the edge to Fury.
    Great post. Well said.

      • I think it’s official. Fury is better.

Bowe was really a hype job, he was flattered by Evander being pig headed and choosing to stand and trade with the bigger man.

Never was a fan of Bowe he wanted no part of Lewis and his mouth was his biggest asset, he reminds me a lot of Wilder.
Rid**** Bowe beat Evander Holyfield twice.

Tyson Fury should of really given Wladimir Kiltschko a rematch, a champion of 10 years deserves a rematch.

I would say they are level right about now, but Tyson Fury if he beats Joshua overtakes Rid**** Bowe for sure etc.

          • Bowe only had one loss his entire career, and it was a close decision in a fight where he wife was taken from ringside after the Fan Man incident halfway through. Obviously his last few fights were sad even if he officially got the W, but he has some impressive wins in his prime and his loss was against a prime ATG who he beat twice. Maybe it's fairer to forget the end of Bowe's career as we haven't seen Fury decline yet and how he handles it to make a comparison.

I would go with Fury, but I don't think it's a bad question like some are saying

Andrew Golota did not exactly blast Rid**** Bowe out, the second fight was better than Apollo Creed vs Rocky Balboa I etc

Bowe was over trained and dropped weight too fast, but was game as anything.

Rid**** Bowe is one of the few fighters, that has gained credentials even with a losing performance 'His loses to Holyfield and Golota in my opinion came with some positives'.

              • The Bowe that beat Holy smashes the Wlad Fury fought to bits and would do the same to Wilder.
The Bowe that beat Holy kills Fury.

                    • Fury has had 2 meaningful fights in the last 5 years. The comparisons with Bowe are pretty real.

Both could have been great (Fury still can be) but neither really proved it beyond showing up in the minimal number of fights that defined their careers.

Still waiting for Fury to defend a belt.
