That doesn't excuse the fact that he never avenged the Purrity and Sanders losses - and it doesn't excuse the fact that he waited until Brewster was coming off eye surgery and a year long layoff to avenge that loss.

Where are the brutal KO losses on Holyfield's resume during his prime?

What the *** does that have to do with what we're discussing?

So then you agree that there is no excuse for Wlad not properly avenging his losses?

          Live with it dude.
Lol except you've conveniently ignored the fact that they fight nothing like Klitschko.

Did you see the bombs that Ruddock, Smith and Douglas ate? Do I really need to show you highlights package? Meanwhile Klitschko gets tapped and starts rolling around. He was basically winning every fight that he lost except for the Fury and Sanders fight till he got tapped on the chin and started breakdancing.

Klitschko at his best would get KO'd by Mike for the mid 90's. He might be winning on the cards but Mike would soon get to him.

Um, the so-called lineal championship does not actually exist at HW or any other weight class - the lineage having been broken several times - so who DKSAB?

Just because a particular lineage is broken does not mean a new lineage can't be created, Einstein.

Go read about about the past 100 or so years of boxing history and tradition. Then, and only then, will you start to get a clue. Until that time, YDKSAB...

no.anyone with a brain can see that other champs who were beat by better men made up for it by beating those better men.

but you dont make up for something with an absence of it of both.

Wrong. The whole notion of a lineal champion very much implies an unbroken lineage. The man who beat the man who beat the man...all the way back. Otherwise it’s a completely meaningless “title” - which it is. #YSDKSAB
