Avoiding the question I see. I’ll take that as you acknowledging Canelo found his level too. Well since you wan to go there, let’s try YOUR examples:

    Golovkin's level:

    1) good enough to sc**** past Danny Jacobs, who was a HUGE underdog (Apparently Jacobs was only world class for Canelo but not world class enough for the old, flat footed 37 year old GGG

    2) not good enough to get a clean win over Canelo, who had never previously fought at middleweight ****Let’s share a secret...Canelo fought Chavez Jr. at the catch weight of 165 before GGG. Yeah Chavez Jr, THAT world class fighter

    3) not good enough to get a clean win over an active/skilled fighter like Derevyanchenko (Don't mention he was good enough to get a win WITH the flu. I guess that’s better than taking Clenbuterol or dropping the WBC belt and refusing to take the fight that old bastard in GGG sooner)

    Canelo's level:

    1) good enough to sc**** past PROVEN world-class fighters like Lara (Sc****. Is that a euphemism for “too good, I better stay away from him”?

    2) not good enough to beat a ATG like Mayweather (World class fighter just not world class enough. Got it!

    3) too good for tough-guys like Golovkin/Kovalev (Too good but won’t give Lara an immediate rematch or too good to vacate the WBO Light Heavyweight title? Those world class fighters such as Artur Beterbiev or Dmitry Bivol haven’t gone anywhere? Neither has David Benavidez.[/QUOTE]

When again was the Lara rematch? You never answered that.

will that happen AFTER Canelo unifies with Andrade and Charlo? Or is that after he vacates another title to avoid the creme of the crop at 160, 168 or 175?

I gotta tell you cupcake, Canelo has never unified in ANY weight class. You’re too easy to pick on...

From Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, Saul Canelo Alvarez !

No doubt, Jacobs definitely dug deeper against Golovkin than he did against Canelo. I expected more from him in the Canelo fight.

Ahhh…. a Canelo GGG thread... all is turning normal in the world.

Jacobs fought well against Golovkin. He looked horrid against Alvarez. Golovkin is a pressure fighter, and Jacobs is a technical kind of counter puncher. Alvarez is also a ring general type, who responds to what is happening in the ring. To me, it is a simple "styles make fights" outcome where Trip G and Jacobs made for a better fight than 2 technicians trying not to make the big mistake did.

This is also why Trip G and Alvarez had 2 competitive, classic fights themselves basically separated by 1 round of scoring over 24 rounds of fighting. Their styles compliment each other.

NOBODY called Jacobs elite before Golovkin selected him, he was a HUGE underdog... but when Canelo fought Jacobs, everyone knew that he was at least the 2nd best middleweight on the planet

you casuals may not understand the landscape but insiders know

regarding Chavez... 165 is not middleweight son

you clowns said Golovkin was a killer LMAO... but he could not beat a short fat red kid who was coming up in weight

and in truth, he likely lost to Derevyanchenko

dude, the guy does not have 1 signature win on his resume

the myth is over... Golovkin was over-hyped, and he continually lied to his idiot fanbase... you just need to man up and accept the truth

Jacobs beat GGG on my card and HBO announcers Kellerman and Lampley both said we might have a NEW MW KING. Judges gifted Borat tho

Canelo beat Jacobs clearly but it was close

Jacobs is fighting scared now days.He took zero chances vs Alvarez. This to Canelos credit was counter punching him relentlessly.Jacobs just mailed it in after a few rounds and took his outrageous pay check and went home.Would not pay a nickel to see him fight again.

Nah, Golovkin is not one-dimensional. The fact that both Jacobs and Canelo struggled with him proves it. Wilder is truly one-dimensional, relying only on his powerful right hand to win. Take that away and he is dead in the water.

Well GGG has a great jab, power, and a great chin.

                      That's about it.
