Daniel Jacobs came closer to beating Gennadiy Golovkin than he did winning his fight against Canelo Alvarez. The former IBF and WBA middleweight champion still considers the Golovkin fight to have been a more challenging assignment than his loss to Mexico's Alvarez. Jacobs was reluctant to let his hands go vs Canelo because he kept getting countered but he's acting surprised it wasn't more action packed? lol Obviously trying to deflect attention from how ineffective he looked in many of those rounds.

I think Danny Jacob's could be alot better if he fought more assertively. He has alot of talent he's just too passive at times.
