I have no problem with Floyd fighting Margarito or people wanting Floyd to fight Margarito, but be real. You can't have it both ways. You can't say "Floyd is fighting B and C level fighters... he is a *****" but then say "he should fight Margarito." No matter what you think of Margarito or how much potential you think he has, he hasn't proven himself to be an A-level fighter. He might be don't get me wrong, but its not a foregone conclusion. So if you want him to fight Margarito call it like it is. You want Floyd to fight a dangerous but untested fighter. -
another dumb comment from a boxing novice...why couldnt spinks the 154 pound champ beat a blown up super featherweight? or baldomir a guy who's spent his whole career @ 147 beat mayweather?Originally posted by guruspinks or baldy... ***n garbage, neither guy has a snow balls chance in hell.... of the two, baldy can be more competitve...Comment

again, im not a major floyd fan, but some of you all are actin like floyd hasnt fought a soul since he started boxing. not only has he beaten fighters, he has dominated them. not many are walking around with that status.Comment

Not a big fan either but give the guy his credit when its due. He beat some GREAT fighters early in his career and hasn't matched the level of opposition recently. That is all.Originally posted by chuckwatersagain, im not a major floyd fan, but some of you all are actin like floyd hasnt fought a soul since he started boxing. not only has he beaten fighters, he has dominated them. not many are walking around with that status.Comment

he has not lived up to his #1 p4p status latley thats all. and he wont fight the guy rated #2 in his weight class who poses the most risk.period.Originally posted by chuckwatersagain, im not a major floyd fan, but some of you all are actin like floyd hasnt fought a soul since he started boxing. not only has he beaten fighters, he has dominated them. not many are walking around with that status.

Well that depends on your definition of p4p. I still have Floyd #1 because his skills don't look diminished to me in any way. Obviously his level of competition isn't as high as when he was at 130 or 135, but he has convincingly beaten everybody he fought after. On the other hand I agree with your contention that he refuses to fight the #2 guy in his weight class who poses the biggest threat. Btw where have you been the last week?Originally posted by charlie31he has not lived up to his #1 p4p status latley thats all. and he wont fight the guy rated #2 in his weight class who posses the most risk.period.
