Thats not true, based on that logic, Floyd will have to fight every fighter in the world.
marg is ranked # 2 under Floyd #1 at welter under Baldi the ring champ..he will not dominate 147 til he beats both Baldi and Margarito thats a fact regardlesss of a title...
No just title holders that are ranked in the top 3 by Ring Magazine that have called him out for a lot of money. That certainly lowers the number of people he has to fight.

ok I can take him having to fight Margo to dominate, but not to be da man!!
Titleholder, he won the fight off an eliminator, what margo justify Floyd status as da man at 147. He whatnt the man before Floyd got there, he didnt beat the man that was the man before Floyd got there. But Guess what, Floyd beat da man, Baldomier beat da man, Margo cant say that. If Floyd fights Margo, it will be atreat, he dont have to fight Margo for justification.
Yes he won the title in an eliminator. What did you want him to do... not fight for the title because it was vacated? Since then he has defended the belt 6 times. Maybe it wasn't against a murderer's row competition but that isn't his fault (when people won't fight you, you take what you can get). Furthermore he was totally dominant against lesser opposition like he should be. And Floyd did not beat the man. He beat the guy that used to be the man before he was beaten by Baldomir. If you want to say that Baldomir is the man and nobody else fine. I rarely use the word duck, but if Floyd takes your attitude and says that fighting Margarito is a "treat" that doesn't have to happen ever then I will use the term "duck." How can you say he shouldn't fight a guy that clearly could be a threat to him who called him out numerous times? Maybe you think Floyd would win easily but you can't deny Margarito has the great equalizer...power.

I try to be as objective as I can. And if you can't acknowledge that Margarito is a worthy (maybe untested but worthy) opponent then you're delusional. Most importantly I think it would be an exciting fight and that is what I care most about as a fan.

ok so your saying that baldy is the man right, because he beat the man. so you have no problem with floyd fighting baldy then. and all of this talk about fighters not wanting to fight marg is just ridiculous he is far from the most feared man out there, alot of fighters will get in the ring with him and some have already called him out. it's just bull**** that he calls out floyd and thinks he deserves the fight and people jump all over him for not taking it and when floyd is in negotiations with baldy (you know the man that beat the man) people still out there talking ****. no matter what floyd does people are going to try to bring him down because that's what happens to the best out there.
