Oh I've no issue with it, far as I'm concerned any fighter's entitled to do what he wants with his career, and once they get into their mid 30s certainly ain't gonna fault a guy working on his retirement fund. Besides it's not like Golovkin's really got a hitlist of other top fights waiting for him anyway.
And yeah, whatever else even at 38 GGGs arguably still the best at 160 (less you thought Canelo deserved the nod) until proven otherwise, though I'd say the gap is real thin at this point. Can't not give Canelo credit for it, just not as much as if he'd been able to beat him cleanly back in 17 or 18.
