Who's 'we' Scrappy, and why should I care what you think? 
Simple fact is whilst some folk said Cotto was 'ducking' Golovkin for Canelo and Martinez was 'ducking' Golovkin for Cotto I've repeatedly said they weren't.. I said you can't expect guys to take a risk fighting a less well known name for less money when there's a genuine PPV / superfight waiting. I'm just applying the same standard to Golovkin. And sure, if folk were going in on Mo Hooker or Rougarou or Usyk or Taylor like they are on Golovkin I'd apply the same standards there too... same about any other fighter.
I don't know where this myth of the courageous greats who fought every threat irrespective of the money came from. Far as I'm concerned it's pretty much entirely false, like some wierd mass delusion.. Fighters have always fought the for the best payday they can get, and when boxing's done right that'll also mean the best and toughest fights get made but the simple fact is it doesn't always work that way. Never did. And to me that's just down to the budgets the politics and relative power of the promoters whichever fighter you're talking about. Nor are opportunities spread equally through the sport. Never were. For me it's the system that's broke and blaming the fighters is just ****** fan rivalry stuff.
