Canelo will knock Golovkin unconscious and end his career

In the second fight Alvarez hadn't peaked yet and he showed he can take everything Golovkin has and fire back making little G run away

This time he is going to KO him the same as his bro Kovalev

Alvarez will end the myth of Gennady Golovkin

Myth? Canelo wasn't able to wobble Golovkin once in 24 rounds.

It's entirely possible he will KO him. Not sure how much credit's left to be gained however. Like you say Canelo's probably absolute prime now, could even argue that he was in the second fight and GGGs just getting further away from his. I honestly don't see much point in it cept Golovkin getting a nice bonus - if he couldn't do enough to persuade the judges when he was 36, he sure as hell ain't gonna when he's 38.

Still I'm quite sure such an outcome will still bring considerable rejoicing in some corners of this forum...

That's probably the nicest thing you've ever said about GGG man

My view on it is that if GGG wants it, let them go a 3rd time...if he is thoroughly outclassed or stopped it will hurt his legacy, but that's why they fight...by the same token, if he performs well, he could get an official win here, and some (myself included) would say he is 3-0 vs Canelo if he wins this one.

If Canelo stops him or even beats him legit, I would have to give Canelo a lot of credit for that...GGG is aging and getting older but if Canelo does that to him it still shows how far Canelo has come, and it's not like GGG is 45...he should still be able to compete well at his age and recent ability level.

If Canelo gets a clear win here I think he should get props, regardless...assuming there are no weight clauses etc...and likewise if GGG wins (again imo) people should give him props as well...if he outworks Canelo again most rounds then people should give him props for that and not hate on him.

Only problem with that is that the 2nd fight was fought toe to toe...the only round where GGG backed up in that fight was round 5, and that should have been a clear round for GGG, just for the record.

Canelo did really impress me by being able to hold the ring vs GGG though...so maybe in this fight he will take it one step further and really walk him down...but even if he does, GGG has more to his game than most give him credit for...he can still score with the jab going backwards, as we saw in round 5, fight 2.

The likely winner is Canelo but if anyone scores a KO, it will be GGG.

Myth! GGG didn’t have two black eyes and DID a post fight interview and did NOT go straight to the ER Room right Vlad?
