What the hell kind of ****** tournament is this????? Butterbean was just a freak show not a world champion or even a top 50 contender. he fought mostly 4 round fights because he was too fat to go 12 rounds or even 8 rounds. He hit hard but has zero place in a heavyweight best tournament. A prime Foreman slaughters Haye and KOs Tyson in my opinion.. Remember what he did to Frazier.Comment

In case you haven't realized, there's a worldwide pandemic forcing people to quarantine and stay home.
This is a fun tournament that I'm enjoying.
I hope they do another tourney like this with the following participants:
1. Robinson
8. De La Hoya
2. Leonard
7. B. Ross
3. Mayweather
6. Hearns
4. Pacquiao
5. P. WhitakerComment

So true, it's impossible to capture all of the context looking back. It's still a fun and worthy venture though - tons of great fights and fighters...you can really start to understand styles and stuff like that in the general senseComment

Also, when you watch a fighter grow in real-time, it can give you an assessment of how big of a challenge his opponent was "at the time", which can give you an idea on if said fighter is capable of overcoming the present challenge regardless of how big it may be. Or in other words, fighting to the level of the occasion.
You can't really get that while watching archived footage that happened before you were born.Comment

What is this guy smoking? Lmao. Foreman would've beaten Tyson. Even the second version. Tyson's style was perfect for Big George. Remember what happened to Joe Frazier? And Frazier would have beaten Tyson at his own game. Man, those heavyweights back then were tough. I think any of those would have beaten Tyson. You got Norton, Shavers, Foreman, Frazier, oh lawd.Comment

I dont think the simulator is realistic enough.
Maybe Tyson would have won in real life, maybe he would have lost...but no way do I see him being able to knock George Foreman out in 4 rounds.
Foreman was only stopped once in 81 fights. And that was out of sheer exhaustion more than anything else.Comment
