Comments Thread For: WBSS Fantasy Tournament: Mike Tyson Blasts George Foreman in Four
Mike Tyson continues to plead his case as the baddest man on the planet. The former two-tour heavyweight titlist punched his ticket into the eWBSS (World Boxing Super Series) Heavyweight Legends Tournament finale following a 4th round knockout of George Foreman. Three knockdowns paved the way for Tyson's second straight knockout win which took place Saturday afternoon at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

As for the one that beat Frazier...that's a whole other thing. The way Foreman took out Frazier was damn impressive. But I don't see it going down that way vs. Prime Mike. I think I'm leaning towards Mike being evasive enough while getting his punches in for a decision. Am I sure about that? Absolutely not! lol

I just watched the interview you posted with George. I agree that it was good that Tyson wasn't pushing for that fight. Good for George's sake.

My initial take is this. Mike Tyson was an unbeatable monster in his prime. After witnessing his destruction of Spinks first hand, I really realized this.
In the 90's, when I finally got a hold of old footage of Frazier, I really didn't see how he compared to Mike. He was smaller, slower and less powerful... And I thought Mike had a better chin.
When I take that into consideration, I see a lot of mistakes Big George would make. He would punch wide winging shots with both hands down. To me, I would see Prime Mike, simply catching and shooting and catching George flush on the chin, time after time.
I don't know how many flush shots Big George can take, but i do know Ron Lyle had him down and out several times in the fight.
For me, Tyson would take it. He was a bigger, stronger, faster and more powerful version of Frazier.
Head to head, I even think Prime Mike would've beat Ali... Why not? Frazier did it.
I know that same logic can be applied to Tyson vs Douglass, but I don't think Tyson would be sleeping with Japanese women or a bunch of women in general before the biggest fight of his life like he did against DouglassLast edited by Chollo Vista; 03-28-2020, 03:21 PM.Comment

What is this guy smoking? Lmao. Foreman would've beaten Tyson. Even the second version. Tyson's style was perfect for Big George. Remember what happened to Joe Frazier? And Frazier would have beaten Tyson at his own game. Man, those heavyweights back then were tough. I think any of those would have beaten Tyson. You got Norton, Shavers, Foreman, Frazier, oh lawd.Comment
